OMG and OT, this name seems to be linked with sadness. I found another Jason Young (not this topics Jason Young) who is the brother in law of a young murdered girl named Mindy.

There's even a JY that writes on his site:
"Hi. You may have found this blog by trying to search for “Jason Young” in Raleigh, North Carolina.....
......If so, you can move along now. I’m not that guy. (there are about a half dozen Jason Young’s in Wake County and at least 30+ on the voter rolls in NC, such is the life of a common name)....."

He wrote a thoughtful entry about it on his site.

Hi scandi, this is exactly why they need to interview Jason. They may have had repair men in the house, babysitters, friends, and so on, without his input how could they eliminate fingerprints as being there for a purpose?

Does everyone remember the report a few weeks ago when it was reported that LE was investigating the trailer area? They quoted someone as saying LE wanted to know if they had ever been in the Young's house? Thought that was odd at the time unless that particular person had known the Youngs and wondered if they asked anyone else that. Just thought I'd throw out that reminder since it was from a media report and we're on to the fingerprints again.

I do remember this report as well, good reminder. It seems to add a bit of credence to the idea that perhaps LE has not completed the id of all prints since the investigators have now moved to Brevard. It also suggests to me at least, that if there are unidentifed prints, they didn't come from someone in the neighborhood as the finger printing process continues. Thanks for the reminder Strach.

Interesting thoughts ... maybe he did odd jobs or repair work in/on their house? Maybe there was a receipt, a phone number - something inside the house that got LE to check out the trailer park?

Please tell me listening post's latest post is .... well ... is pretty much far fetched. For TOS precautionary measures I've not brought the post over here - but basically what I got out of this is that Jason Y is well connected and Michelle Y is a "yankee" and that the resent continues back to the civil war.

PUH-LEEZE .... someone tell me Darth Vader has a more likely chance of landing in my study than this story has of being remotely true. I, for one, do not and cannot allow myself to believe there still exists some lone 'hillbilly-gun-toting-patriots' ready to mow down the lineage some 10 generations-later of civil war days.

Lord: I'm from other side of the world and ... that kind of post alarms me because of all the things USA may or may not be involved in - I never for a moment thought this way; I've taken the USA people as a combined force in a global superpower - sure some are disgruntled at various political stages, but on the whole - this is a country that does not "snuff out lineage".

I cannot even post a response to that ludicrous statement, for fear of being banned. If I was the mod over there, I'd eliminate such prehistoric thinking so that the global audience does not sway in their boots, like I did.

The 15 year old had an older friend who lived in the trailer park, and I think that came from an insider {whoever told about the problems in the neighborhood}. I read in a link that LE had talked to people in the trailer park, but not that they asked if anyone from there had ever been in the Youngs house. Then there came a link that was through a TV report on Greta that they talked to people there and in the neighborhood to see if they saw anything unusual or any cars in the neighborhood between 12 and 6am.

Of course that is just what they told us. They might have had other reasons to talk to the trailer folk that would remain QT.

I did read an article in the media Scandi where one of the neighbors commented that when LE came to interview them they did ask him if he had ever been inside of the Young's home before. I remembered reading that because I thought it was an unusual question.

What I found truely offensive was that he referred to Michelle as a possible dead damn Yankee. Amazing that post has not been deleted by their mod, although Ocean said CW has retired {assume she meant ColdWater instead of
CrimeWatcher} and if there is a new Mod she night not be as stringent as CW was.

I was very surprised to learn there is prejudice up in N Carolina in regards to the CDivil War and several posters said it rears its ugly head at times. I know from studying the Natalee Holloway case that there is still racial prejudice in the South which I also was amazed to learn about as we are kind of sheltered from that in the Great Pacific Northwest. All I see here is a prejudice against Moslems which is mainly in Seattle.

Prejudice. You would think we would all learn from history that it is simply savage. I have had a certain prejudice in my life and have worked hard to erase it from my brain and feel like I'm making great headway. None of us are perfect.

Hiya - no I haven't returned and read responses - on my way back. In that case, floh - prolly best for one or two posters to put him in his place (only to show international audience that he's talking complete codswallop).... and then NOT to give that stupid remark anymore oxygen - which is why I refused to log in and comment - I'd be batting off a blind bat.

What an interesting post, scands ... thanks ... just read up and Damned Yankee - oooooh, maybe he posted that to test the "insiders' - who knows? And - your last paragraph (for what it's worth) ... recognition is a far more valuable quality than procrastination. So, you've already 'crossed' the line regarding whatever it is you're working on. The post was offensive and I take it personally as I am from the South. It demeans us as well and that is certainly not the attitude of anyone I know. Good grief she was a lovely wife and mother that lost her life horribly and her little baby boy lost his too. My heart breaks for the family, I don't care if Michelle had been from my hometown or NYC, the sadness I feel would be the same.

Anyone who would imply such trash as the other poster did is just a stupid azz imo. Archaic beliefs breeds ignorance.

IMO the poster is as ignorant as the concept described within the post.

I thought however I would post this article as IMO this is in reality the reason behind all the silence and so called "fear"
