Hugs to Mike! What a heartfelt letter. I can't say that I understand how these things work, but I agree with TL, even if the judge is going to receive presentencing information/paperwork, the letter should be sent to "her" (LOL) separately to make it stand out so that she can give it the proper attention. Hugs to you to believe for all your hard work and for being there for the family.

I agree that if it's not being done, it should be done...IMO, the judge should see all of the impact statements if possible in advance. I wouldn't have thought of it and think it's great advice.

For anyone interested, the judge is a SHE and SHE is a tough no-nonsense type.:woohoo:
I certainly wouldn't want to be in her court and SHE isn't going to like WW/AF. She is the type of Judge that the perps would say "Oh xxxx!" when they find out that she's their judge.
SHE will give him the max even if she doesn't read the victims impact statements beforehand, IMO.

Thanks, Gigi-I will find out whether or not the statements are going to make it before her prior to the next hearing and let you guys know.

Thank you AZGG - this is what I've read about her. AWESOME!!! Though I sure do hope she reads the impact statements and takes them into consideration. I want to make sure she knows that at the end of the day, a 17 year-old girl lost her life because of WW/ADF.
