Unresolved: Mildred Flett
"The family of Mildred "Millie" Flett has not heard from her since she was last seen on June 8, 2010, in downtown Winnipeg.

Flett, who also went by the name Mildred Nelson, was 51 years old at the time of her disappearance. A missing person poster issued by the Winnipeg Police Service said it was uncharacteristic for her not to be in contact with her family.

Today, Flett's case remains classified as a missing person case by Winnipeg police, according to the Manitoba Chiefs of Police's missing persons database."

This is from the past year on CBC Still missing: Disappearances of nearly 140 Winnipeggers remain unsolved | CBC News There are so many missing persons on the list, Mildred is about 1/2 down the page. It states that she had cut her hair and changed her name. I wonder where that information came from?

She may have cut her hair and change her name they state....that could be about anybody who went missing. Same thing like she may have dyed her hair or she may have lost weight.....

But the way they phrased it sounds like they received information, I wonder where it came from? "There was information released that the 51-year-old may have cut her hair and started going by a different name."

Good article, thanks!
Link within that link shows Mildred with long hair, her teeth are visible and that she is 5'10'' tall, ( other articles say 5'9'').

Her ex-husband, Grand Chief Terry Nelson of the Southern Chiefs' Organization, told CBC News in August 2010 that it was initially difficult to get police to pay attention to Flett's case. A cash reward of at least $4,000 was issued by Nelson's family for information related to her case.

They made a missing page for her on FB. Missing Mildred Flett

Look at this wonderful picture of her.....heartbreaking.

Some of "Millie's" friends and family might know her as "Red Cloud" because it was her native name and she often introduced herself as Red Cloud.

(from the Missing Mildred Flett Facebook site)

She was last seen getting into a brown car with her ex-boy friend and a third person, somewhere at:

"Last seen getting into car with ex" is never good. So sad.

< text > = added by me for readability or further explanation.

There is a lot of contradicting and incomplete information in this MP case. I think this stuff happens when there isn't a serious investigation from the beginning. <according to her ex-husband, Grand Chief Terry Nelson of the Southern Chiefs' Organization> Very, very sad, like so many of the First Nations missing women's cases in Canada.

On May 1, 2010, Mildred Flett disappeared from her home in Winnipeg. Where was her home? Somewhere on Ellice Ave or Empress street?

Her ex-boyfriend was eventually charged with violating a court protection order against her from earlier in the year, but never charged with anything else. I wonder when this protection order was issued. Earlier that year, but when. Before May 1?

And
She was last seen getting into a brown car with her ex-boy friend and a third person, somewhere at Ellice Ave or Empress street. When/on what day was this?

In August 2010, a former boyfriend of Flett's was <eventually> charged with violating a protection order she had against him <from earlier that year> It was alleged that the ex-boyfriend had gone to Flett’s home on June 23, 2010, about two weeks after she was last seen, but she wasn't home. Two weeks after she was last seen would be ? One presentation of the facts is that she was missing from her home since May 1, 2010.

If she had a protection order against him. Why would she get in his car? Was she forced? Was it another ex???

The last information of her whereabouts were on Friday June 4th 2010 at the downtown Bingo that evening. She was last seen getting into a Brown car with OTHER UNKNOWN people.

There is a picture of a signboard of a hotel on a street. This hotel is on Main Street, Winnipeg. It's from Taken, Serie 2, Episode 6, about Mildred's missing case. I don't get the relevance of this, maybe it's about the street and not about the hotel at all. I can't check because I can't seem to watch this 30 minutes video on the Internet. Taken: Mildred Flett | TVmaze
Was she last seen on this street, at this hotel? Was the Bingo there? What else?

Adding information about her: Millie needs corrective lenses and is a smoker. She may or may not have short hair. <People who knew her told that she wanted/was planning to cut her hair and dye it red>

Poster "Missing Mildred Flatt", September, 15, 2010: Today Saskatoon Police sent a report to the WPS who interviewed an old friend of Millie's saying that he had seen her August 11. + Just to clarify... she was reportedly seen in Saskatoon on 20th street heading to a place called Fire Creek on August 11. <This possible sighting can or can not be accurate>

If anybody can find/watch the Taken video, maybe all of this is better lined out and makes more sense.
