I agree, it is VERY DOUBTFUL that the family learned anything from the media for crying out loud! The families are all staying together for what I hear and read.

ETA:
Red Cross volunteer Tamila Swiger, who was inside the Sago Baptist Church when the announcement was made, said family members were hyperventilating at the news.

"They are just passing out and crying and just really in bad shape," Swiger said.

God bless them. God bless all the miners. This is so, so sad.

Yes it is, Linda. There is something so heartwrenching about these miners . . . they're such real people, it's like time has stopped for this population. The pictures are heartwrenching.

God bless them. Prayers for the rest of the miners. All the faces of worry and grief bring tears to my eyes.

I am so sorry for these men and their families.I pray they are found soon.The waiting is such a hard gut wrenching part.I believe when I came in from work I heard them say the identity of the miner has not been released.I just feel so bad..

I read the families found out about the body at the church and some were hyperventilating at the news. A reporter said some were passing out from the news. These people are living a nightmare.

The only thing I think has been questionable was them telling the families there was a body and not ID'ing it before telling them. Now they all have to wonder who it was and if it was their family member. Other than that, it seems to have been handled with great sensitivity.
