Dear Websleuths Members,
A quick note about missing-person threads involving minors.
When a missing minor is found safe, we remove those threads. Years later, something as simple as a job search can bring up old search results—and a past missing-person thread shouldn’t follow them into adulthood.
So if you’ve been posting in a thread and poof—it disappears—that’s usually why. It’s good news: the child was found safe, and we’re protecting their future.
And as always, our number one rule still stands: Don’t Be A Jerk.
