I liked how Miss USA knew "the score" & quickly advised Miss Phillipines to get center stage! Miss Phillipines looks at her & Miss USA said get up there!
Miss USA had her hand over her mouth because she knew SH had goofed it up!

But at the end of the day, it will amount to a lot of PR/press coverage of the pageant so it may be a big money-making snafu!!!

Wow.....I love Steve Harvey.....how embarrassing.

I have this picture in my head...Colombia is crowned and the Family Feud Victory theme music goes off. Everyone is doing the happy clap dance like on Family Feud, then the theme music suddenly slows down and fades to sound like a backwards record as SH apologizes and relays his mistake. Phillipines is announced as the winner, The Family Feud Victory song comes on a second time, Phi is crowned, then the screen suddenly goes black.

Poor guy. I like him a lot too. He immediately owned up, apologized, publicly reached out and ommented...there's the saying about how one recovers from a mistake to be of utmost importance in character. But boy, that was bad!

Thank you for posting this. The pageant staff should have let Miss Colombia know much faster as to what was happening in her own language. Miss Phillipines looked shocked and unsure as to what to do. Steven Harvey tells her to take her first walk as Miss Universe and she doesn't have the sash or crown. Both are standing there from what seemed like an eternity before the former Miss Universe walked up to them. Oh my!
