The point I'm making is when did he get back (dec. 14) after work or did he go to the christmas party.
Everyones time line has been accounted, but not stg. dunham's......why?
:blowkiss:

JMO, but when the story first broke and they were trying to get Durham in for questioning, he was identified as a potential person of interest. He was questioned and cleared. I think they determined that he has no involvement and sent him on his way. No sense in intense public scrutiny when he's just a minor player and innocent witness.

Sometimes following these cases we all get so caught up in uncovering all details. I have to constantly remind myself that these are real people, with real lives. I can't begin to imagine how horrible this whole experience must be for this young man.

I don't know who to believe then Golfmom!! LOL AMW should be getting their information from the Sheriff's Department, but you would think the Marines timeline would be correct. Sheesh!

Their timeline also has the ATM withdrawal made on the 14th which I think is correct.

On Friday, December 14, 2007,
There is an ATM withdrawal of $700 from LCpl Lauterbach’s account. Transaction occurs in Jacksonville. Video surveillance confirms LCpl Lauterbach makes the withdrawal.

I thought it was reported that the ATM transaction and the bus ticket purchase were on the same day.

they were, on the 14th.....apparently LE thinks everything, including the murder took place on the 14th.....the party, the note, the ATM withdrawal, the purchase of the bus ticket, the murder....

Right on.. What's the time line for all of this , including stg dunham's.
Sorry if:bang: I'm hammering this, but it is important....
I don;t believe dunham had anything to do with it....but need to know when it got back on the 14th.

the timing is something that the capt hasn't gone in to yet.....we know Maria left early on that Friday, instead of going to the party, so everything, i would assume, happened shortly after she left the base that Friday....

ember made the point last night that the reason LE probably thinks the murder happened on the 14th is because there were no more cell phone calls made from Maria's phone, no further ATM transactions, after a certain point on the 14th....it makes sense to me....if we're to believe that Maria went to the ATM, went & purchased a bus ticket, went home, packed a few things, left Durham a note, then for SOME reason she hooked up w/Cesar, the murder would have taken place some time the afternoon/evening of the 14th....that's the conclusion i have, for the time being, from everything i heard last night.....

IKD-GA...it must have been a mistake on Greta. According to the sworn affidavit given by Christina....He told her on the way to the Lawyer's office on Jan. 10th (no time was given, but I would assume morning). She did not give the information to authorities until Jan. 11th at 9:00 am. (there was a discrepancy of the time on this, too.) It might not have been a FULL 24 hours, but certainly too much time to say she did not give him a head start on his getaway.
OK on the affidavit, it states that:

j. On the morning of January 10, 2008, she and her husband rode to the office of Jacksonville Attorney Mark Raynor.

It does not state what time she turned over control of the notes to OCSO Deputy Detective Sgt. Theodore Cavanagh, but was after she mentioned that CL left at approximately 4:00am.

This would put it right at 24 hours that she knew of the murder according to her statement.

Another interesting note on the intitial warrant for their home...it stated the crime as "kidnapping". I find it odd now that he wasn't charged with such, but is it only because they don't have enough evidence yet?!

i think it's strange that the atty that Christina & Cesar met on the 10th, knew of the murder....why else would he tell them that Cesar could be looking at the DP??.....would an atty not contact LE, or would he set up a date (like the next day) for Cesar to turn himself in?....i suppose it could have been done like that.....like Cesar & the atty were maybe suppose to hook up the next morning (the 11th) & go the Police together........

but Cesar decided to flee...

apparently what Christina stated was what she was told by Cesar himself.....he's a liar

Unfortunately we don't know if she's lieing too.:waitasec:
Going back to the neighbor, if I remember correctly the two of them were yelling at each other.
Was that the morning he left or dec.15?
Which makes me tend to believe she's not afraid of hubby.

I guess I am trying to say that yes I still have allot of questions about Christina's Story and it is very possible that she was involved in either the murder or cover-up or both but I think I am going to try and keep an open mind. We are only hearing part of what has truely transpired. The one thing that I have made up my mind on is that CL was a master at controlling and manipulating others and there is a possiblity that one of those people could have been Christina.

still on the fence about Christina also...i don't think it's been blatantly (sp) put 'out there' that Christina has lied.....not yet anyway

  • #294
Then you would have to read the warrant and decide that LE is lying. It is either one or the other.

One of the reasons that I question her involvement is that if she was involved
and helped plan his escape then why did she not go with him. They both had plenty of time to run after the murder. Why did only CL run?

No one knows if he is even still alive.

good point there, unless she was planning on meeting up with him somewhere later?.....until she's arrested for something, i just don't see her as being involved..yet....there's just been no proof that she was...again; yet..

eta.....i think that's why she hasn't been arrested yet...LE can't find proof either

I had the same thoughts, but he did not have a warrant out of his arrest at that time. This would be the only time he would be advised to turn himself in. Lots of atty's know their client is guilty but still have to defend them how the client wants. If he had of wanted to turn himself in, they would have aided him in doing that and advised him what to say and what not to say. But since there was no warrant, they have no obligation to turn them in. Attorney-client priviledge.

Edited to add: I do think it was not wise for wife to discuss the conversations they had with the lawyers. She had no obligation to discuss atty conversations or what they were advised to do. By saying they said looking at DP, it kinda gives away that he confessed.

just listened to the interview, again, that Greta had last night with the FBI spokesperson.....when asked if Laurean's family are cooperating, he hesitated & said that was case-sensitive & wouldn't answer the question....

IMO, & i think in Greta's also, his family are not cooperating....
