I totally agree. Even if she retracted statements about being raped, it doesn't mean that she wasn't. I was married to a military guy for years. There is a big veil of secrecy. Everything revolves around protecting the military member's career. If she thought that her career/livelihood would be adversely affected or that she would be shunned or in danger, she could very well have changed her story.

Did anyone else notice in the video of when they found her car it looked like it had been spray painted? I wonder if someone (maybe fellow Marines) had been harrassing her or something.

A pregnant Marine purchased a bus ticket the day she went missing from Camp Lejeune but never used it, the Onslow County sheriff said Friday.

Sheriff Ed Brown said the ticket was from Jacksonville, North Carolina, to El Paso, Texas.
Roshaun Hames told CNN affiliate WNCT-TV on Friday that he sold the ticket to Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach around 5 p.m. on December 14.
Hames said he thought Lauterbach was alone when she bought the ticket and that she drove off after asking if she could leave her car at the station, WNCT reported.
The ticket was good for six months, but Lauterbach was scheduled to use it December 15, Hames told WNCT, the day Lauterbach's car was left near the station. Bus records show the ticket was never used, Hames said.
The sheriff also said Lauterbach's ATM card was used at the Jacksonville Wal-Mart on December 24, according to CNN affiliate WITN-TV.

I believe it's one of those multicolor metallic paints.

What really bothers me is OK, she may have left on her own for reasons of her own but she is MISSING. She is about to give birth. She is MISSING.

She is a very easy target for violence or other harm, even if she took off and went somewhere. We don't need vague excuses that don't make any sense from her family or the military, she needs our prayers and positive thoughts no matter where she is. Things can't be good for her, not with what we know at this time. She obviously has a problem with her family, and if they were my family, I'd have a problem with them too.

She needs a mother right now like she's never needed one before in her life!!
