Depends if he got since Mossiville is only 2 hours away. he might have boarded the plane before the APO was sent. I am trying to recall when Ipswitch freind saw the truck in Durham

With all due respect, JDB, any woman whose husband may have had or is accused of having sex with another woman knows exactly what the "other woman" drives, where she likes to have lunch, who she hangs out with and how she dresses. Christina probably checks Cesar's cell phone for Maria's number, and follows Cesar now and then when he leaves the house. She has probably followed Maria's car before and maybe even keyed it.

Cesar was accused of rape, but he most likely either told his wife that Maria came on to him and was angry because he said "NO" or he was drunk and Maria took advantage of him. You know he didn't say "yeah, I raped her, so what?"

Can I hear from other female posters on this subject?

If it was your husband and you were too naive to see that he was a no-good-rapist-murderer-cowardly-punk, would you know what your "competiton's" car looked like?

The hotel (the Microtel in Morrisville) is less than 2 miles from the actual airport. Morrisville is actually mainly hotels and an outlet mall

Hi Ipswitch, Did your friend see his truck at the parking lot where they found it or out on the road. I'm thinking he may be close if she saw the truck somewhere else.

She did go to a doctor for a well woman checkup, but didn't do a rape kit. Why? At that time she wasn't pregnat. So? what does this mean? Did they take the pregnancy test too soon? But medical testing is far more accurate than over the counter testing.

A few things -

Remember when we first talked about this guy being "lost" and where could he be? Are there military flights out of that area? Are there small and/or private airstrips out there w/ hangars people can rent to board there planes? (Out here by me, if it's a small private airstrip (we have one a few acres over, hardly used, but once in a while someone will land and/or take off) they usuaslly don't have to do a big ole flightplan and clearance...

Xtina's hair - That is some of the style around here - Half blond half brown, sometimes they go with black..the brown actually looks kind of cute when it's done right - the black , even though it shouldn't just makes me think "skunk" LOL not saying it's the case with her hair, just another ave of maybe it's like that on purpose, and not just something growing out.

As for Cesar parking Maria's car at his home - I'm thinking, just plain S-T-U-P-I-D.

Let's remember that "the neighbors" didn't know squat about Maria's disappearance, the rape allegation or anything on the 15th or 16th when the neighbor said he saw Maria's car at the Laurean's residence.

I believe he said he only saw the car there for a day or so - not a week, as has been posted here somewhere. Anyone know where the "week" estimate came from? I missed that report.

Think about it for just a minute. If you saw an unfamiliar car parked at your neighbor's property .. would you really go over & inquire who it belonged to or why it was there?

My extended family visits regularly - numerous times during the year. They fly in & lease a car at the airport. Different vehicles each visit are parked in my driveway.

I can't imagine one of my neighbors being so nosy & intrusive as to come ask me whose car was at my residence .. or why it was there. Neither would I ever consider doing that to one of my neighbors. Totally tacky, imo.

Exception - if I knew my neighbors were out-of-town and I noticed a strange vehicle that was in their driveway & loading it up with the home's contents - I would certainly make an immediate call to LE or our community security service. But, in my estimation - that's totally different from nosiness.

Just my opinion, fwiw ...

BTW - I agree with your inquiry as to how far away from the base the Laureans lived - also Maria. I posted that same question a day or so ago too - but, haven't seen an answer yet. Anybody know?

She said she saw it early Saturday morning (around 7:30 am--she was on her way to work) at the intersection of Durham Freeway and Chapel Hill St. She noticed the Lejeune Decal & NC tags, and said it looked like a white/hispanic male, with a "marine haircut" was driving it It was a 4 door black dodge pickup. I completely trust this friend to be telling the truth to what she saw. (Yes, I know that just cause it looked like him doesn't mean it was him, but the police took down every detail she said.)
