This gives a better idea where her body was found:

The body of the 24-year-old was discovered in the forest, a 24,000-acre tract north of Dawsonville and east of Dahlonega on Ga. 52 that contains Amicalola Falls State Park. The park is about 10 miles from where Emerson's bloody clothes and identification were located Friday by Forsyth County deputies.

Not that we will ever know for sure, but my theory of him going on Wolf Pen Gap still could be right. If he drove that road it circles back around to the area from 180 to 52.

SS it could be..who knows. Maybe he killed little Levi because it was one of his first kills and basically used the boy as 'practice'? Ugh I hate to think of these kinds of things...

This is why I have trouble with the boy myself. However, could the boy have seen him doing something he wasn't supposed to see? Only thing I can think of.

My thoughts this morning on Levi are that the boy merely pissed Hilton off somehow. Walked in front of his vehicle. Gave him a dirty look. Who knows. But everything I've been hearing indicates Hilton has been taking his agressions out on people for a long time. Why he wasn't put away for assault years ago, I have no clue. He sure has a thing for hitting people whether it's with a fly swatter or baton.

If you blow up the ATM pic on the Dunlap case, I swear it's his eye's and mouth. The tape looks to be like masking tape. I don't think he's wearing goggles. Mabye SieSie or Mohabi can blow up that pic and clean it up?

At first I thought that Hilton's motives were robbery as the ATM seems to be a common theme. But look at all the driving he does, then consider gas prices and the time invested in each case. That would negate his profits quickly. I now wonder if murder was the motive and the ATM cash was merely a side benefit.

Investigators handling the killing of a Henderson County woman and the disappearance of her husband in Pisgah National Forest found some similarities in the cases after meeting with Georgia authorities, Transylvania County Sheriff David Mahoney said.
They also ruled out any yellow jacket link, something that had emerged as a first similarity in the cases.

It was just reported on Cnn Headline News that Hilton lead LE to Meredith's body. I wonder if he was promised by the DA that if he told LE where she was they would not seek the DP.

Even if he was given the DP, at his age he would probably die of natural causes before it is carried out....

I think you could be right about the motive for Levi. I was sort of thinking the same thing....

I mentioned this to Windy who will mention to Chico. We may have to put this off for the moment (the forum) because of recent/current tech. issues. I believe once the issues are fully resolved we can then decide if a forum is needed.

I think you could be right about the motive for Levi. I was sort of thinking the same thing....

I personally think this guy just gets off on killing people. That is why there is no particular "type" he prefers. Or maybe it is when someone pisses him off he decides to kill them...

Or he is just an opportunist. If we think of all the potential victims he could be involved with that is the commonality. Females alone, small child, elderly couple and possibly young imbibed men. Robbery is part of his MO but so is vulnerability.

Anyone who had siding work or other remodeling work done by Insulated Wall Systems going back into the 1990's should be coming forward to identify those neighborhoods. It is a fact that Mack Hilton was the person you likely spoke to setting up your appointment! Mr. John Tabor would have Mack Hilton drive around neighborhoods collecting addresses of homes that looked like they needed siding work and from those addresses Mack collected, Mr. Tabor would send out a post card

I did think it a bit odd that he was wearing a belt with other gear such as water bottles, and I believe he was also carrying a "walking stick" of some type. I remember saying something like, "Wow --you must be hiking a long distance!" Not long after the dogs and I had returned home, I remember seeing him standing on the corner opposite my house and thinking it was a bit weird because he had been walking in the opposite direction when I first saw him. **Shudder**

What I want to know is why his employer at the remodeling company on Clairmont Rd. in Chamblee did not contact the police immediately? Why did it take a customer of the remodeling company to come to the Sheriff first with the name and location of his employer?
Must be because "Mack Hilton" aka Gary Michael Hilton had made a lasting negative impression on that customer! Why would that customer have taken a picture of Hilton's Van parked at that remodeling business? What was it that caused all the pieces to come together so that important phone call could be made? Sometimes Justice has a strange way of working!

For those of you in Atlanta who may have seen many of us who live near Murphy Candler Park interviewed on TV, we are all traumatized by the horrendous actions of this strange man who frequented our park and walked past our homes regularly until a few months ago. We wonder was he using us and our park as some sort of sick field training for what he was planning in a more remote park? I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out he is responsible for the missing UGA girl also missing since hiking with her dog on Dec. 30. How many others are there???

If doesn't mean (to me) he didn't do it....

It doesn't mean that to me either. If he was adept at roaming as it appears no telling how many petty thefts he has done along the way. Steal clothing, discard clothing, etc. Also, his job with the siding company required he ride around looking for houses that needed work so I imagine he became astute at who was home or if the house was unoccupied.
