I think the neck looks like Hilton's as well as the build. Even the same build as the atm video involving the murdered elderly couple, or at least the woman. I saw Hilton on tv and could see his neck better than these pics. Very wiry and prominent veins. I believe the man is still missing?

Yes, Hilton looks like the guy in the ATM photos to me too.

I think it is the same guy in the ATM videos we have seen thus far also. Same build, same slump to shoulders, and duct tape. I bet anything there is duct tape somehow used in the ATM footage we haven't seen yet in the Emerson case. You guys are doing a great job. Wish I wasn't at work and could check in more often. Very true, and I hope they are looking at the Levi Frady case from a decade ago, too. There is a HUGE chance he was involved in that.

Which LE officials notified them? I hope it wasn't the original ones on her case because they have treated Bywater as just another nutcase who ran off. Just because LE hasn't found a connection...yet, doesn't mean there is no connection. LE shouldn't jerk the family's chain like that.

I wonder if Cheryl Hodges (Leon County, Fl.) and Meredith's cases will be similar as far as cause of death. GBI was quick to say after finding the clothes that the chance was slim to none of her being alive. I hate to even post that but I was worried all night that would be the case.

The family will be giving a presser or making a statement later this afternoon.

Yes he does look grose and stinky. Anyway if he did murder these adults I believe it was for the money as he was either trying or did use their debit cards/credit cards etc.. But why would he kidnap and kill the little boy Levi?

I believe, as someone else stated, that little Levi just crossed his path and teed him off in some way......

According to Hilton's baton ordering friend. He's lived out of the building he worked at for the past 7 years or so until he went to live in the woods. That would be the siding company he scouted business for.

I also have an issue with "Barbara", the baton ordering friend. Supposedly she knew of Hilton's irratic behavior (eveyone did!) and attacking cars driving between her office and the siding companies. And yet she orders a baton, (as you and I would) for the yahoo? Now she says she never felt threatened by him? Sounds to me she's saying that because she feels like a dope for ordering the baton for him in the first place.

I said from the beginning that LE is familiar with this guy and that appears to be the case. In a video I linked a woman stated she had a violent run in at his favorite dog park in 1994 and called 911. The answering officer said, IIRC, that Hilton wasn't normal, but that he didn't considered him to be dangerous. The officers response tells me they knew who this woman was calling about. LE says they have no record. But you can't tell me that someone getting their car beat up didn't call LE.

Hi everyone I've been lurking on this thread for awhile now waiting for my account to get activated.. so glad that it finally did.
Unfortunantly we are not meeting on the best of terms...I've been following the news of Meredith quite obsessively and held out hope until the last minute...I was quite crushed (but not suprised) when her body was found.
I have several thoughts..first off, while I am not one to believe in psychics, I know that Brian from www.briansdream.com has been mentioned on the websleuths board a lot. I did want to put it out there in case it has not been discussed, that Brian had an RV that suggested that Gary Hilton was a serial killer and had killed 7 people. Not suprising with all the cases being looked into.
Also, keep in mind that while a killer going to an ATM certainly could connect Hilton to a case, if you google "ATM and murder" countless numbers of cases come up..this is not an uncommon thing for a murderer to do (I completely thought otherwise before I researched it)

Does it seem to anyone else that Hilton "wanted" to be caught? If he is a serial killer he has certainly not left as much evidence around as he did in Meredith's case.. or maybe his mind is deteriorating (talk of mental illness or MS) I just find it curious that he has never slipped up before.. or maybe the LE was just really on the ball this time.

As for Ella being alive, I can understand that..I have an unusual bond with my animals and I'm not a big fan of people..not that I'd ever kill anyone but I can see someone loving an animal but still being capable of murdering a person..people hurt you, animals show unconditional love. However, I do believe that Hilton may not have meant to let Ella go. I wonder what kind of condition she was in when they found her in terms of mental health..was she shoken up? scared? I have a feeling he may have put her in the van when he attacked Meredith..but that brings up another question..why did no one hear either of the dogs barking? Perhaps Ella didn't bark, but most animals would if they sensed something was wrong.

I apologize for the length of this post..I have been sitting here anxiously awaiting my account activation and have much to catch up on.

As far as I know, there's never been any info released that he was sexually assaulted. But someone shot him three time, am I correct on that? Who would just kidnap and shoot a little boy three times. Probably someone who walked around threatening, assaulting and hitting people and their property.
