Missing persons window on right side of page

Help an idiot(me) out here. On a tablet, normal res. So I have to click those arrows on EVERY page or is there a setting so I won't have to do that? On a long page (ex:Boston Marathon trial posts) if I refresh, I am then at the bottom of the pages & have to scroll back to top to click those arrows...again. Thanks for any help

I think I twice mentioned I am aware of an issue with adfree users.


Speaking of ad free users,

1: The ad free user system has not functioned properly since I came aboard. I will be making it one of my high priority items moving forward.
2: If I understand right, everybody over 100 posts should be ad free.
3: Ad free users will not be affected by this sidebar.
4: all better

I'm not ad free though I have over 2,000 posts. Any idea why?

I wouldn't mind the previous narrow sidebar advertising, but the wide bar takes up half the screen on my desktop. Not good

You should be able to close it by clicking the double blue arrows.

I will be looking further into the ad free issue and will probably just end up rewriting that system from scratch.

I'm on a laptop here, when I'm reading without logging in, the top post on every page is blank, and I have to scroll down about 3/4 of my screen to get to next post. Also when not logged in everything is crammed to the left side of my screen, with a lot of empty space on the right side. Will these problems be fixed? I hope so, because it's very difficult to read unless logged in.

I'm only telling you this in case you need to change individuals. If you are just rebuilding the whole system, then......nnnnnnevermind ;-)

Is there a separate thread for ad free issues? I have the same top, bottom and side ads as everyone else. I noticed that thread loading really hangs to load the ads sometimes. Makes me want to code my own plugin just to read here, but I don't have that kind of initiative for one site.

I finally found the blue arrows and bam, I have a full screen again. I have never paid to be ad free but I do have over ten thousand posts, am I suppose to be getting ads? Because I do have ads at the top of each page.

Maybe they can put an announcement on the top of the forum about the arrows. Then again some may miss seeing that too.

The ad-free function no longer works. If you have over 100 posts and/or paid to be ad-free you are now subject to viewing ads.

The reason why the ad-free option does not work anymore is because the program does not work with the latest vBulletin upgrade which is what we are using.

The man who designed the ad-free program has stated publicly that he wants nothing to do with fixing this problem.

We are working to fix this problem but we have no time frame in which we can pass along.

We have disabled the sidebar for now.

My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
