Can you elaborate more on their profiles. Is it true that Henson has a criminal record?

I recall one of JK's classmates posting that she knew JK as someone she avoided because she was the type of person who would 'kick your butt' (paraphrasing by me). Having said that, I do not believe JK was directly involved. Indeed, I will point out in a separate post something interesting that takes me back to the GG MG as likely culprits.

Will, when I have seen your posts around I have often wondered if you are the son or grandson of the late attorney? Or otherwise related? And if you are an attorney yourself?

Negative Hurricane; not attorney or related to atty. A more diffuse connection to victims. Thank you for your posts BTW; they keep me thinking.

I have not posted a link on this site previously, so I will trust it meets the site's guidelines. The story is from MO, and has aspects that cause me to envision some possible scenarios with the 3MW. The abduction and torture being cited as 'tactics often seen by the group" simply reinforce it pointing to GG MG. Now, connecting the dots from the GG to the victims becomes the task.

Today I was watching a documentary about the missing women
. There, Mc Call and one of the investigators mentioned the report of a car that had been stolen the night of the disappearance. They said that the card belonged to a classmate of the girls. Do you know somthing about this and who the friend was? Honestly, I had read somewhere that the car belonged to Sherrill´s neighbor, not Janis. Do you know something about it?

The Disappearance of the Springfield Three

Early into the police investigation, a neighbour of the McCall family reported their car had been stolen. It was initially believed the theft was related to the case, but the McCall’s didn’t live near the scene of the crime and there was no related evidence found upon the car being recovered.

Criminal Territories: The Springfield Three

I found a link to a page that states that it was Sherrill´s neighbor.

The police received an unusually large number of tips, including one from Sherrill Levitt’s neighbor, who told the police his car was stolen the same night of the disappearance; however, it was found days later and not determined to be connected.

Never thought about that @asyousay! I'm so confused about Stacy's overnight bag. I can't find if it's mentioned she had one or not.

Mother of missing woman: Don't call it an anniversary

I coudn´t find that either. I found in most pages that she had a make-up ket and her purse. Actually if we read the first quote, we can assume that Stacy didn´t have an overnight bag, because her mother thought she was naked when she saw the shorts and the bra.

"Her shirt and her panties were all that she had," McCall said.

The doors were unlocked. And inside a room were Stacy McCall's shorts, shoes and bra in a neat pile on the floor next to the bed. Nearby were her keys, her bathing suit, her purse and her make-up kit.

I was @Nixaeagle lol. My theories change daily. At the beginning of March, I thought Larry Hall was responsible. But every time I learn something new I always come back to Janelle and her family. The Kirby's established the entire timeline, including when Kathy Heard Suzie Say "Follow me to my house." and then "Ok, I will." Stay replied. Lol just say that sentence out loud. I don't see them saying that. It's too perfect. Then they leave and are never seen again.

I also find that reply ("Ok, I will) so odd. I was not sure to mention this as my mother tongue is Spanish. It sounds like the type of answers you give in those artificial exercises of grammar for foreign learners. JAT.

It seems unusual that Stacy would have planned to make an overnight trip to Branson for the water amusement park without a change of clothing. She must have had a change of shorts and top, right? Deodorant? Maybe she had an overnight bag, but left it in her car.

ETA: That brings up another subject: The girls cars. Were they searched, what was in them? Did LE check them for fingerprints?

That was one of the better of the documentaries done about this case. The video is excellent but I don’t speak Spanish. The dubbing was excellent.

Interesting, but I've taught ESL, and a reply like "Okay, I will," is perfectly in keeping with either standard, or vernacular, English. I see nothing artificial about its use here.

It can be in keeping with the standards and commonly used, but it sounds odd in that context (for me). Some other member of this forum had the same impression. Thanks for sharing your point of view.

Oh, god! I just realized it was in Spanish. Sorry. Well, it´s good to know the dubbing was fine. I´m sure YouTube has the version in English.

Yes. Although I wasn't there to hear the inflection in the girls' voices, the words just struck me as if Suzie had talked Stacy into staying at her house that night, and Stacy was hesitant ("OK. I will!"). I don't recall seeing what Janelle said at that time.

I'm still trying to hunt down what and why the girls changed their minds about going to Branson that night. Probably innocuous, but who knows? Anyone seen or read where Janelle has commented on that?

I don’t believe Kathy Kirby heard Stacy or Suzie say that at all. I believe it was a way to keep Janelle safe. Even if Janelle wasn’t involved at all I believe Kathy wanted to protect her daughter.
IMO both things Kathy claimed seem artificial.

I’m curious to. I feel also feel like there never was a trip to Branson that night. I would fib about going places I didn’t want my parents knowing. I’d also like to know if she had a swimsuit. The way her clothes were folded strikes me as what someone would do before going swimming. I wonder if perhaps Suzie and Stacy went to Delmar to get Suzie’s swimsuit and also drop one or both of the cars off. Speculation of course, but a late night swim on graduation night would have been fun. Especially with a small group of friends.

Yes, the trip to Branson could have been a ruse the girls used so their parents wouldn't know what they really up to. But then, why call it off, or, at least, tell their parents that it was called off?

Maybe they had plans to meet up with some boys at the hotel in Branson, but one of them couldn't make it that night. No one wanted to be a fifth wheel, so they all bailed. But if they did, why didn't Stacy have an overnight bag, like Suzie did? Or did Stacy put her stuff into Suzie's bag?

I wonder who all was supposed to go to Branson that night. Did they all change the plans so as to spend Sunday night in Branson, so "everyone" could be there? What has Janelle said about the whole Branson plan?

This shows just how messed up the timeline, created by the Kirby's, has derailed this investigation.

In the first incident report it states that Mrs. McCall told the officer that Stacy's swimsuit and clothes she wore that day were in Suzie's room. This is the first I heard that Stacy had her swimsuit with her.

Janelle knows more than she has said. But how much of it is what the police have told her what she could say versus not wanting to get in trouble (parents or police) versus fearing for her life as she could well know the perp(s), who could come after her, even at this late date?

I agree. Janelle knows more than she has said. However she should have stopped doing interviews if she was told not to discuss something at the request of the police or if she was scared of the perp.
