In previous threads I raised that as a very real possibility. It would assist in making the “getaway.” It also raises another question.

How did he know the phone number? That should also be answered.

Well as one of LE’s theory’s was Sherrill or Suzie may of known the person responsible I guess they would of known the house phone number.

Also I don’t know the rules for American do you guys get to keep the same phone number if you move houses?

I was too young to know what we did in the 90’s but I know now if you move if you stick to the same area code you can keep your old telephone number.

I feel like some of this stuff sounds like the movies.
Really, well, many movies are based on actual incidents. Some popular TV shows do nothing but that.

Good point.

Might be nice to know if she had the number listed in the YP.

I know, but sometimes things, and most times too, are much simpler than embellished Hollywood depictions.

No, I did not in anyway imply that is why the murders happened. I have stated my opinion on why the murders happened, I believe associates of the three teens, who were connected in regards to criminal enterprises, feared that the teens would try to deal their way out, and either moved on Stacy or had the teens move on Stacy. Then Mike was told to check on crime scene.
Do you mean Stacy or Suzie? I thought it was Suzie that was to testify.

Suzie, my bad. I think Stacy was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

With all due respect this continued connection to the teenager friends and acquaintances seems to my mind non productive.

I would ask a simple question. What possible motive would they have? So far as I am aware, Janelle and Stacy were very close friends and she went on to marry Mike and Janelle I believe had one or more children.

Where is there any evidence of any connection some unnamed criminal enterprise?

I’m open to new ideas as we surely need new thinking. But I have talked to numerous sources about this case and such a scenario never came up.

Amen. It was a merry mix-up at the house the next day, not a criminal enterprise.

I don’t believe there were more, if that many, than 10 men on the list. Carnahan would be an ideal client but she couldn’t have been unaware of his sordid history.

So far as I know there were exactly 221 clients on the Rolodex plus my two co—workers for a total of 223. However, I have seen zero evidence any were actually contacted.

Your coworkers were in her rolodex?

That is a good question. I remember in the early 90's at least in PA if you had to use an area code you were calling long distance. I only remember because if my mom made a point of keeping calls short with my dad when she called him at work. I wonder who the provider was.

I think they need to figure out the timeline of the women and also re-question people and see what happened at the party or parties and if any family members that visited people and maybe attended parties had criminal backgrounds, or a history of sexual assault.

Many people's coworkers were. I read once that she had over 300 unique clients.

I was wondering if someone knows if they were contacted. It might only matter if those 300 people had her personal number. If she scheduled appointments from home who knows how many people had the house number.

maybe that's why it hasn't been solved.

What is the simple answer to how 3 women disappeared without leaving blood or signs of a struggle behind?

Would your sources give you all the information they have? Is it possible things were overlooked because people didn't assume all 3 women vananished together? Then everyone seemed to be entering the home, answering the phone, touching god knows what. It seems like the focus was originally on Suzie and Sherrill and not what happened when Stacy and Suzie were out.

I don't think it's simple.

But it starts simple.

Find out who visited the house. Work your way out from there.

Have you thought of applying to become a verified insider in this case? You seem to have a lot of personal connection to it. And have you shared all of your knowledge with LE?

The people that we know who stopped by the house first were Janelle and Mike. If you know something the police don't maybe you should share that information with them.

This is an excerpt of my post in thread #7 and I think it still applies.

‘To show the difficulty in trying to understand this case see the following: This is an excerpt of a news story from 2012.

In 2012 NCMEC visited Springfield for a prep presentation.

NCMEC looked at the house and traveled to different places the girls were the evening of June 6th.

The April 2012 presentation in DC lasted nearly 3 full days in front of a 25-person panel of criminal experts.

"We went over physical evidence that was collected at the scene

We went over the timelines of the victims. We also discussed some of the people looked at as possible suspects

There are people that we have looked at and are completely ruled out.

There are people we have looked at for the last 20 years and are still not completely ruled out.

The profession has improved so much since 1992, especially in the area of science, so is there a piece of DNA evidence out there that hasn't been tested or was tested years ago, but the process is better now that may lead us in a good direction?

"I will tell you that we are constantly reviewing evidence that is found at the scene and we will, I think, have the opportunity to have some things retested." (Link not now available but accurate)

So three days of intensive reinvestigation by these outside agencies didn't seem to move the ball. I keep hearing a confession is needed to solve the crime.

Finally, I worked with one of the police officers who searched the river and banks around the James River. He didn't know anything and I asked him several times. I also worked with another LE official who had an inside into the investigation and said it was "unsolvable" because the crime scene was contaminated. I argued and argued to no avail.

It is so frustrating.”
