Yes, iirc it wasn't a heinous crime "scene", it was the manner in which the crime occurred that was heinous. In other words, luring a poor young girl out in the middle of the night, with the promise of finally getting her true love back, while behind the scenes planning her demise.

Thank you for clarifying.

I ended up here because TE is a personal friend, and on the day HE went missing he called to ask if I had heard from her or seen her or if my son had(They were the same age and friends). As the social media circus went on, I wanted to find a place to actually find some TRUTH rather than the stupid rumor mill etc. Subsequently, my son was questioned not just once, but twice, a year apart, about when the last time he had spoken with HE was(for those idiots on the Moorer side who say LE only investigated SM and TM).

In any case, I don't post much, but seriously appreciate the rules(even though I've broken them a few times inadvertently) because it keeps it from turning into another social media free for all that can't be believed.

Since coming here, i've also read all I could about the Brittnee Drexil case as well as Amber Berbiglia, both cases happening right here in Myrtle Beach.

Thanks to all of you for the support of the Elvis family. They are good people. As more insight, for those jerks who at one time kept harping on the "donation money" being stolen or frauded, it absolutely was not. Terry doesn't need anyone's money. He is a generous man. He has done work for me, and many time's i've had to force him to take money to pay for the labor or supplies. It's been hard to see a good man, a nice family who isn't perfect, be vilified and turned into a monster, for some troll's sport.

This is so refreshing to read. Seriously. Websleuths is one of those true crime forums that has a little bit of everything - people interested in true crime that sometimes have differing opinions, most of the time very thorough background collection, various levels of expertise from stay at home moms & dads to power professionals following along and lending their experienced opinions. The list goes on.

So much has been said about TE's past. I predict during TM's trial it'll be brought up. It stinks imo for TE bc he imvho appears to be a man that has learned from past mistakes and has made a good life for himself and his family. It can go to show that some people can truly rehabilitate and overcome to succeed. It makes me ill to think there are some people that constantly make mistakes, such as having affairs and cheating the government, did nothing to make their life better until very recent, yet continue to throw this man under the bus...this man that is doing everything in his power to keep HEATHER in everyone's thoughts and prayers. This man, his wife, daughter, and extended family deserve sympathy - good old fashioned down to earth compassion and sympathy.

Then to see DH be brought into this when everyone reading HE's social media from day one KNEW UNEQUIVOCALLY the conversation brought up in court was between HE & DHjr that goes by DJ! Even though the Defense is paid to do a job, to intentionally mislead in such a way is ignorant and low imo. We here found that crap, including the legal info on his father, worked through it and most of us here aren't cops, but honestly a sensible intelligent person doesn't need to be a cop to see that DH wasn't involved in HE's disappearance.

The only one or two suspects with any kind of motive that happen to fit the timeframe of HE's disappearance are the M's, and their truck places either one or both at the scene.

Way side note but I was rewatching some footage & it (text or IM) didn't say Popsicle it said potsucker, whatever that is, with the OJ request from the 4:00 am texts that weren't discussed but shown on screen. Plus who eats Popsicles in Dec? IMO I have added the few SS I took while watching the feed today:

image.jpg Another inside the M house photo
image.jpg This was hard for me to listen to and watch. Lots of love to you Bri.
image.jpg SM looking the way he has most of the trial (IMO)
image.jpg Another shot of SM

There is one thing that still puzzles me. The statement by the now retired, Sandra Rhodes regarding the heinous crime scene. What was that about?

There is a lot of buzz about this especially among Elvis detractors. Rhodes did not say heinous crime scene. She said heinous crime. There is a distinction. I do not know for sure, but I believe she said that in reference to believing Heather was pregnant and her being murdered as a result of that.

I specifically stayed away today, even though temptation to check in was itching me lol, bc I wanted to watch the trial for myself then take time to ponder as if I were on the jury. I believe the Quantico expert was strong. I believe Bri's testimony was strong. I think that there were parts of the trial that may not have been proven and could be questionable, but when reviewing the expert trained at Quantico and then Bri's testimony today, they both outweigh any lingering questions.

If I were on the jury, I'd vote for culpability.

I wonder what the jurors occupations are. I wonder if any of the jurors were ever involved in an affair or conversely were cheated on. I also wonder if any of the jurors suffered domestic abuse in their past. Basically I'm wondering if someone could resonate with SM and vote in his favor.

So do most of us here think HE was pregnant?

I think her words were 'heinous crime'. It was Sid who added 'scene' if I recall correctly.

I don't know if she was but I believe SM and TM thought she was.

Question: When that text saying dad no longer has a phone was sent to HE, consensus is that came from TM. She also sent a text saying that phone was being given to their daughter. If that really was the truth and they did give SM's phone to their daughter, then HE calling/texting that night to that specific phone could give TM a way out of admitting it was her on the other end of the call. I'm not thinking SM actually had his phone back. So if that's the case, how could it affect the trial? Or wouldn't it?

I don't know. It could have been a bluff.

The test on demand after a PTL kidnapping doesn't quite work for me. I think there are some missing pieces with the pregnancy part of the story.

It is no doubt in my mind that SM is guilty of causing Heather's disappearance. I felt the prosecution put together a strong circumstantial case. It is difficult to predict what the jury will do.

As I told someone earlier in a PM, I am reminded of something a Federal Judge said a few years at his retirement dinner (and I am paraphrasing because I don't have the exact quote): "I have served as both a State and Federal Judge as well as a prosecutor and a defense attorney and have pretty much seen it all. But one thing I will never understand is the thinking of a jury. They never cease to amaze me"!

HE texting (.) does it for me. Idk. My bff's sister just had a baby and I remember when we first found out she was pregnant. She was thin-ish but started gaining weight all over. Finally my friend and I just came out and asked. She told us she was and thought she was a few months along. Long story short she had a baby girl night before last! It was her chest that we noticed right away that prompted us to question if she was pregnant.

Another question: If HE truly was pregnant, is there a possibility it could have been miscarried or aborted without Bri knowing? I'm only asking bc she testified she's the one that cleaned the bathroom and HE hadn't used tampons etc. She did say HE spotted, there was blood. I didn't get the feeling from her testimony that it was a full blown period though. Then when thinking about the pregnancy test showing an error, it makes me wonder.

Did any testimony say what kind of pregnancy test was taken that resulted in an error? Usually an error will just show as blank unless an E shows, which the E might be bc not enough or too much pee was saturated into the test.

I definitely think we are missing big pieces of the pregnancy story as well. Wouldn't HE buy another test if she got error? What were her appointments she posted about? Why did SM think she was pg? Did she try to tell him as some here speculated or did he hear it?

BW didn't confirm it specifically today which I was hoping for (maybe HE didn't confirm to her) but she did say HE didn't have a period so maybe so. No other way to explain weight gain, increased breasts size and no period all together, IMO. Hmm so many unanswered questions & the most important one, where is Heather?

IM(unpopular)O: I know you guys think SM is empty and dead on his inside but he was NOT his normal self today IMO. I think something he heard bothered him today. Maybe I'm reaching, it's late, I think hearing Bri was not something he could explain away internationally or externally bc he listened to her intently. MOO

I can't figure out the whole pregnancy thing. I'm inclined to think she wasn't, because she was happy and moving on with her life, as well as I believe we've seen pics of her drinking etc during the weeks/months prior to her disappearance. I also, for the life of me, can't figure out what the deal was with him buying a pregnancy test. No way on earth do I believe he bought it for TM. But why in the world would he even buy it for Heather? I truly believe in my heart that with all the evidence, that they hatched this plan on their trip out west to eliminate the threat to the marriage (in Tammy's mind anyway), so why the need for a pregnancy test?

Then the whole trip to Longbeards and staying there 15 mins or so kind of ruined my whole scenario of how things went down. It might make sense if something happened to her there, since there didn't appear to be any evidence of a crime at PTL, but then the problem of getting her car all the way over to PTL, as well as her phone calling SM's phone all those times en route or when she or her car arrived there.

Question for you long-time sleuthers....or attorneys....can any of the statements made today by KT be introduced at TM's trial as in her husband pointed the finger at her? Or is that simply an OPINION that isn't evidence, so it won't be allowed?

Maybe they wanted to see if she was preggers
if so they would get rid of her.

on the whole pregnancy test thing.....could this fit the timeline and make sense?

SM buys the test on video, then we know he called her from the payphone on video, could that conversation have been "meet me at the parking lot of Longbeards and i'll bring you an EPT. Then they meet for a few minutes, perhaps re-igniting passion with hugs/kisses or whatever(real or contrived), then she takes the EPT home back to the apt and does the test. Then calls to tell him the results(the 2 phone calls to his cell), then heads to PTL perhaps because he told her to meet him there to celebrate or whatever?

Does that fit the timeline of the pings etc? That MIGHT help explain the reason for him buying an EPT, and also explain why she went to Longbeards, and also explain how her car got to PTL. Perhaps at that point SM was back at home when she finally got through to his cell, and if the result was positive, this infuriated TM and they BOTH met her at PTL to do the deed?

This helps explain some of the EPT and Longbeards questions in my mind. Now...blow my theory out of the water so I can start all over!
