More thoughts on LB. Have you noticed not one time have either of the M's made a deal about LB? When it's something they want explained away they put their spin on it. I'm actually surprised that TM hasn't made a big deal about Heather driving there and being there for so long. Makes me wonder, what does she know about LB and is she hoping we don't connect the dots.

That is a good point.

Good point. That has to be an important part of the puzzle.

And another thing I noticed the last time the photos of TM & SM in sexual positions were mentioned the camera was on SM, he shook his head as if in disgust. I'm pretty sure it was during NL's closing statement. That's one time I saw him react.

What happened during/after the first visit to LB to make Heather's phone stop trying the pay phone and switch to trying SM's cell phone which had just been turned on for the first time since December 11th the second time she was there. (Is this about SM's phone being off since Dec 11 fact? I read that on WS, but not sure if that's 100% true).

BBM Exactly! And why would Heather know to try that number at that exact time?

Entirely possible she was no longer in charge of her phone.

I've seen the young "****s" mentioned and a social media post that was made the night before, about them being "ready for action" or something. I know we can't sleuth them, but I wonder if they've been investigated by L.E.

The phone powering on right before the call from Heather's phone gives me shivers every time I think about. This little fact completely changed my perspective of what happened that night.

For some reason, I automatically assumed SM bought the cigar to roll a blunt (for lack of a better term). If his lawyer knew that his son's friend smoked marijuana (coupled with the fact that the friend referred to SM as "cool"), I figured SM had probably smoked w/ them. But I could definitely be way off base w/ that assumption.

ETA: I wish we knew what kind of cigar he purchased. That would probably tell us a lot.
I can't believe that hasn't crossed my mind. He bought it at Wal-Mart, so we know it wasn't a Cohiba. Haha. But yeah, it didn't even occur to me he was buying Phillies or Swisher Sweets. If I hadn't heard the "cigar" was bought with a pregnancy test, I think I would've immediately assumed it was for a blunt.

Me too.

How exactly does that work? I know what a Swisher Sweet is, but having never been pot very much, I don't know how you can make it "into a blunt?"

Heather moved into Bri's apartment during the time when Sid and she were supposedly no longer in touch, just a few weeks before her disappearance, and he was on a long trip with the family. So there's an assumption being made that Sid knew exactly where Heather lived, but did he?
Not sure. Mine was just a theory that I don't necessarily believe. I've been one of the ones who's always wanted SM to have truly cared for Heather. It's easier on my heart, so I try to fit it into every theory.

Does anyone know whether or not SM (or TM posing at SM) communicated with HE via social media or even Snapchat? It is my understanding that Snapchat is used mostly by adolescents but may also be used by people having affairs. Can Snapchat conversations and pictures even be tracked and/or recovered after they "time out" so to speak? We know from BW's testimony at trial that HE was a Snapchat user. I ask because the pregnancy test is something that just isn't adding up, IMO. I feel like there must have been some other type of communication and a note on a car doesn't seem plausible to me. Input anyone?

BBM

This is a great point.

I was waiting for to hear evidence presented by the State concerning Heather's computer use that IMO would have included Social Media activity and messaging. Nothing!

I know when I converse with others online and mobile, it includes a combination of texting, emails, actual calls, Facebook messages, Twitter direct messages, InstaMessages, and possibly other forms of communication.

So, were there any between Heather/SM/TM/anyone else on any other channels?

Ah ok. I don't think truly caring for someone jives with allowing that person to be lured to their death and then taking great measures to cover it up, but that's just me.

One would carefully open the cigar, making the tear as straight as possible. One would then remove the tobacco from said cigar and replace it with weed. One would then reseal the wrapper. Or at least that's how I assume that goes. ;)

Exactly!!! When presenting facts in a case, I think it's pretty important to get ALL the details of the facts.

Was the "cigar" a Tropical Fusion Cigarillo? Or, was it a Don Carlos cigar? Makes a BIG difference.

I agree. I have "always WANTED SM to have truly cared for Heather." That doesn't mean I BELIEVE he did.

I swear I thought I heard cigarillo, I remember thinking he spent so much more on that than he did the pregnancy test and how long it took for him to pick it out. He was more concerned with the right smoke.
