He did great. He seems sincere. He seems sad. Defense was good about not being too aggressive, but it was easy to see what he was saying.

Agree. Very sincere and deeply sad. I wonder if defense had any interaction with SS before they planned their strategy because he is not their guy.

The officer testified he was patrolling the area of Peachtree Boat Landing and a few minutes after 4 a.m., he found a dark-colored Dodge sitting there at the landing.

Defense loves objections. 2nd one for "leading" on the questioning of the LEO Casey.

I know! Shut UP already, Truslow.

More objections.

Observed vehicle parked "awkwardly". Ran the tag. Didn't come back stolen. Looked in the car. Empty. Car was locked. Very thorough inspection hadn't been broken into. Nothing around the boat area- nobody around. Used his spotlight to illuminate the vehicle.

This guy was thorough. He looked everywhere and anywhere. Didn't see anything.

Now he is telling them if they take notes not to miss anything from looking down to write. Says body language and facial expressions are important but is allowing them to take notes.

WHOA!!! WTH? Who is he to tell the jury how they want to handle their own note taking. And also trying to interpret body language is very VERY VERY subjective and could be incorrect conclusions drawn.

I find this shocking.

Basically the judge is telling them that their interpretation of expressions and non verbal communication from the witnesses should be taken into account and used as evidence. WTH?

Would love to hear a lawyer weight in on this.

Guskiewicz testified that the car had all its doors locked and its windows closed and intact. He said he also didn't see any keys or a cellphone in the vehicle.

Prosecution and officer showing the jury photos of the area of Peachtree Boat Landing. The witness is describing to the jury what is being shown in each of the photos that the state has entered into evidence.

I missed it. Are these actual pictures or reenactment? Or are they pictures from the next day? Seems they are from that night because it's dark.

LE looking at a series of pictures from PTL, showing the jury the photos. Talking about how dark it is. Says HE car was parked facing the water. Can't see anything without having a light on, so dark.

ETA: These are reenactment photos taken at dark.

Guskiewicz said he was at the boat landing for about five or six minutes. He testified he didn't see anyone while he was there.
