Anyone think SM will take the stand?

So with most of Tilted Kilt employees of Heathers making or posting statements on chalk boards about her being with a married man, is this how SC is, doubt it, who were the other waitresses who taunted HE? etc...that was said by the last witness, the blonde. Sorry, forgot her name, been out most of the day although I did watch the prosecutions opening, tried to listen to the defense, I didn't last long. I did see the 3 TK employees testify. Someone had to know the misses or SM if many of them taunted HE about SM. hmmm

When the comment was about the chalk board was mentioned it made me wonder if TM contacted owners or mgmt of TK about Heather, while else would they get involved?

I'm watching the testimony on YouTube since I didn't realize the trial had started today. I actually prefer watching testimony this way, then I can FF through boring parts.

Soooo...

I guess we're now allowed to discuss the possible pregnancy since it's part of the testimony & evidence in this case.

So far the witnesses all agreed that Heather never 'lost' the weight she suddenly gained. And she had indeed gained weight (I made mention of this when I first saw that last picture taken of her learning to drive a stick shift...she had a double chin in that picture and she looked to me like she had gained at least 20 lbs from the other pictures posted of her looking waif-like.)

The inference is clear: Heather was possibly/probably pregnant, even though her first pregnancy test came back with an "ERROR." She had gained weight, she went up 2 bra sizes (that's a tell-tale symptom right there). And she probably disclosed her pregnancy at some point to Sidney, which is what the motive was to get rid of Heather. I couldn't figure out why Sid would want Heather dead, especially since she had already moved on and was no longer in contact with him.

A pregnant ex-girlfriend would be a very clear motive!

Is there a You Tube video of today's hearing? I looked but cannot find one? Thanks in advance.

Another factoid we didn't know:

The witness who saw Heather's car at PTL around 4:15am-or so that fateful morning she disappeared was a cop! The cop was doing routine patrol around the area and noted the car parked at PTL but saw no one. That car of course was Heather's vehicle. This cop will be testifying in the trial...likely tomorrow I would think.

Why this is important: it helps cement the timeline and corroborates that Heather's car was at PTL that very morning in the very early morning hours AND Heather was never seen again.

Another scenario: we've all wondered why Heather was UPSET at hearing SM still loved her and wanted to be with her. Maybe it was because she'd aborted their baby and NOW he says this when it's too late?? After the abortion she really was resolved to move on......until that phone call.. it messed her up so she agreed to meet with him. (Maybe he didn't know about the abortion? )

All just my theory.

And an important omission from opening statements by the state:

- NO mention of the phone call Heather made to Bri after Heather talked to Sidney at the payphone. This makes me wonder if the judge excluded this evidence. Anyone know? Now sometimes a prosecution team will withhold telling the jury everything during opening statements and let it all unfold during witness testimony to give more impact.

Even if that was SM truck , they have to convince a jury who was driving it. SM, TM or both. jmo.

And the defense has already laid seeds that will make that a very very valid doubt.

I hope they have more evidence than what was laid out in opening statements. I hate to say this but this case so far seems weak to me. If a jury cant determine who showed up they aren't going to convict anyone.

Truslow filed a motion to bar the "hearsay statements" of BW then last week withdrew it saying he would argue when it comes up at trial.

Tammy's not going to be at the trial at all because she's going to provide the reasonable doubt. They are trying SM's charges separately because if he's not convicted of kidnapping the other will be dismissed. Without SM conviction TM will never be tried because it's even more circumstantial.....and even if she was tried, SM provides her reasonable doubt......they cancel each other out.

They will both get off IMHO.

They should have been tried together. But I'm not a lawyer.

Why Im glad they dropped the murder charge for now. Hopefully her remains will be found eventually. Hopefully some evidence with it. jmo.

And I'd say, do it! Feeling positive about the trials. Even if it's a baby step to charge them with murder it might help to find Heather.

If not, it would bother me like O j & the other one.

That's my worry too. But I keep thinking the State is going to reveal a bombshell piece of circumstantial evidence, we know nothing about. Hoping so anyway, I can't bear the thought of them getting away with Heather's murder.

Still wondering if LE/The State are sticking to the "story" that it was a "different" Heather at the Conway Medical Center now that the "p" word is out of the bag?
