Haha I am posting on web sleuths on my phone. Watching the trial on our living room tv by air playing it from my iPad.

Awesome! My DH mentioned doing that this morning but he's at work and I don't know how to do it. I can wait and do it in the morning.
I'm watching from my iphone and posting from my laptop, but I would like the screen to be in front of me because it's really more convenient for me
while typing.
Definitely on the tv in the am.

WMBF News

That supplemental report was written by one of the witness' officers and Furr said that report did indicate Moorer hadn't seen Elvis since October, while the phone call with the defendant indicated he hadn't spoken with Elvis in six weeks.

Boy that was a sneaky attack by the defense using the semantics of the wording in a SUPPLEMENTAL report that the officer may have not even seen until today.

I get a feeling the prosecution needed to do a better job of preparing their witnesses. Some simple meetings to review things that could come up. Maybe they did but some of the officers are coming across kind of shaky to me. They are doing the best they can.

The prosecution attorney is pretty good however I wish she would make sure to hammer home the points she needs to make. She gets them out there but I think her voice montome doesn't change enough to show where main points are.
She is thorough which is good.

This defense attorney is getting mean with some of the officers. DA needs a smack down.

Do you have an Apple TV? That's how I AirPlay. We also have a smart tv but I'm too stupid for it [emoji23][emoji23]

I agree and the officer did at least get to say he didn't go back and interview the manager again like KT was implying he should have because the case was turned over the very next day to investigations.

We have discussed Dennis Hart in the past.

Still baffled as to how a RSO could land a job at a place such as the Tilted Kilt in the first place?

And, how is it that Sgt. Furr didn't even know his name?

Or, include in report / take into consideration the alleged altercation between Heather and the M's?

Back in session. Why isn't the guy who did the opening arguments doing the questioning? Preference?

No, the tv's we have, have all this internet and gaming stuff with real busy remotes that slide open. I sometimes hook up my laptop to the tv just because the screen
is so much bigger and the sound is great watching videos and concerts.
To me, music is meant to be listened to loud, very loud. lol

I just realized I can hook up my laptop to the tv and watch this trial, fibro fog at it's best.

I agree about preparation. If I knew I was going to be called to testify I'd be sure I did some reading to brush up my memory on the details.

What does dennis mean he doesn't do objections? :gaah:

I think he was referring to the attorneys saying "objection" and then they didn't follow it with a legal reason for the objection. He was saying he can't rule on an objection if they don't give a reason for the objection.

Dennis said he doesn't do speaking objections. I believe that means he does not want them to object and elaborate on the objection before the jury? And he thanks the attorneys for their patience with his idiosyncrasies. I agree with him on that one. He does have idiosyncrasies.

Yea ours too...I don't really use the "smart" options and stick to my Apple TV [emoji23]. It's easy to use because Apple makes everything the same haha

IMO he said that he wants the basis of the objection and nothing else ("talking") and he will rule on it.

Next witness, another LEO, last name Canberry (?)

All the State witnesses have been very credible and well-spoken. State case has been straight-forward. Defense attorney seems kind of shady in his questioning, more like he is trying to confuse the witnesses and jury rather than get the truth. KT had to walk a fine line in questioning SS because the witness was so non-intimidating, likeable and youthful.

I agree if you aren't familiar with the case the defense seemed very confusing.

Awww yes, the guy from the state is questioning now.

ETA- I like him much better. He is playing by the judge's "rules" just asking questions. No "leading" or "if you don't mind" This is of course IMO only.

I'm appalled that they had 2.5 years to prepare for this trial and this stuff is happening with LE witnesses of all people. :banghead:
