Geez Louise, they changed out the headlights? What a bold move on top of everything else they have done. IMO

Why would they have done this? Were they really that aware of this high tech headlight technology??

Still weird that there was no DNA found though, unless she was placed in that silver tool box on the black truck. Waiting to see if that tool box was missing when police did the search at the M house.

Well they did heave 2 months to clean up.

WMBF News

Fredericks testified that he reviewed hundreds of hours of surveillance footage to see how many vehicles matched the "known vehicle." There was only one match, he added, and it was the vehicle he saw in the early-morning hours of Dec. 18 from the footage taken from S.C. 814 and Mill Pond Road.

I didn't even know you could do that (change the headlights) or why. But then I'm not much into cars. I drive a Jeep Patriot and bought the red one that I liked LOL

Fredericks says he did traffic "audit" to see how many of that type of vehicle go by the cam. Reviewed several hours of vid. #MoorerTrial

Fredericks (witness) reiterates that the only vehicle to match the video is the one in question on vid from 12/18/13. #MoorerTrial

I hope there is a witness who will testify to the number of black F150's with the same equipment as the M's were registered in Horry County at the time of Heather's disappearance.

Remember the defense has their expert. From what I remember he wasn't as good at explaining much. This guy is good- it's boring, but I understand what he's saying.

The great thing about the way the witness is describing everything is it lets the jurors decide for themselves that the vehicle must be the Ford F150 so that no matter what the DT is going to come up with the jurors have enough from this fellow to make up their own minds who to believe.

Very impressed with him so far.

From the Expert: The time stamps on the videos the SiteWorks video was accurate by within 1 minute 3:39am. The home surveillance on 8:14 was off by 1 hour and 18 minutes (rough estimate) and he determined it to be 3:36 am return times were 3:46 am (plus or minus 1 min) for business camera and 3:49am on residents return video.

Truck on both surveillance videos was consistent and occurred within about 8 to 10 minutes or so, give or take. And that truck seen on both videos matched SM's black Ford F150.

Do you understand what he's saying about reconciling times on cameras that didn't have their clocks set to accurate times?

I didn't understand HOW he determined this.

I think they knew of the video footage, I know (IMO) TM has been disputing this being THEIR truck (vs being someone from the Elvis camp- grr) for a long time. I'm not certain if she posted this publicly before the headlight change out or not so it's JMO at this time.

It makes me wonder if the Ms were tipped off from someone close to the investigation. It is strange how they knew they had better switch out their headlights.

The best I can tell (this is my interpretation) is that the cameras have basically a hard drive in them to determine the actual time the footage was taken vs the time stamp on the footage (like he compared to a microwave, it displays what it is set at) so the business footage timestamp was accurate but the residence was off b/c they had not set their clock back to Daylight Savings Time. I hope that makes sense.

IMO

Comment From Baker
Are the jurors allowed to take notes and if so are any of them doing so?

WMBF News:
Hi Baker. The judge did say jurors could take notes if they would like. From our vantage point in the back of the courtroom, it's hard to tell if any have.

Actually I don't....but honestly I believe he knows what he's talking about and would have no reason to fabricate the times. I base that on all the other stuff he testified about that I did understand. Might not be right, but he seems credible and an expert. I wish I understood the time stuff. I'll watch it again tonight.

Oops posted about Facebook- so sorry. I'll post it in the other thread!

I feel like they are related...I mean the whole Charleston connection. Not that it matters in this case but the family is very prominent...he just seems to have an arrogance about him that rubs me the wrong way. Seems like he would never think badly of any of HIS friends kids.

Anyway back from break- I hope the truck headlight testimony is tomorrow when I'm at work LOL

Rembert C. Dennis is Kathryn's grandfather and also Judge D's uncle.

So that would mean Judge D is her cousin. I think? Man, that's confusing.
