TE knew that a crime had occurred at the time he picked up his daughter's car? Can you point me to this?

No. That is not what I intended to say. It is my understanding that Terry drove his car home from PTL.. Of course, he probably just thought she left it there and was with friends or something. If I recall correctly, one of the LE witnesses said they processed the car (took pics, etc) while it was in Terry's driveway because he would not let them take it in. At this point maybe he didn't want to entertain the thought of a crime. IDK - just trying to figure out why he wouldn't have let them take it. JMO

I don't understand the short calls either, why didn't she let it ring?

Could it have gone to voicemail so the call shows a connect but was actually a hang up upon voicemail connection? Would that be around 12 seconds?

Location of Heather Elvis' cellphone focus of Wednesday morning testimony

During a PowerPoint presentation shown to jury, Edens walked the panel through his report. At one point, Elvis' phone was located at her residence on White River Drive.

Then, around 2:42 a.m., Elvis' phone was located at Longbeard's restaurant in the Carolina Forest area, Edens testified. It remained there until 2:56 a.m., and a minute later, it was heading to Augusta Plantation Drive and back to the restaurant, returning at 3:01 a.m.

From 3:02 to 3:15 a.m., Edens testified, Elvis' phone remained at Longbeard's. Then, starting at 3:16 a.m., the phone was heading back to Elvis' location, arriving there three minutes later.

The phone was at Elvis' residence for five more minutes before moving from White River Drive to Peachtree Boat Landing starting at 3:25 a.m., according to Edens' testimony.

At 3:37 a.m., Elvis' phone was said to be at Peachtree Boat Landing, Edens testified. The PowerPoint presentation shown to the jury also indicated that four calls were placed from her phone to Moorer's.

The last slide shown to the jury indicated that the last location of Elvis' phone was Peachtree Boat Landing at 3:42 a.m., on Dec. 18, 2013.

I was talking about the calls to the pay phone.

No matter what, I cannot understand AT ALL why this consent wasn't given. Hell, I'd have DEMANDED for investigators to take the car for a proper processing. Maybe we're missing something. Maybe there was no need for him to consent since didn't he drive the car from PTL back home? Or am I misremembering? If that's the case, then evidence could've been compromised.

IIRC, I read in an article upstream that TE drove the car home from PTL, wearing gloves, but declined to have it taken away and inspected. I hope I'm not remembering it correctly because it makes no sense for that to have happened.

I wanna become qualified as an expert in something so I can travel all over to testify!

The lady investigator who testified yesterday (showing the photos of HE car and apt) stated in her testimony that TE didn't give consent for them to remove the car from his property to take it in for processing so they did what they could at the house but she stated it was not as in depth as they could have done if they removed the car from the property. Here is the link to her testimony:

The short calls were to the pay phone so I don't think voice mail would have happened but maybe the calls would not go through because it was a pay phone number. Maybe there is certain restrictions when dialing a pay phone number from your cell phone.

Or maybe it was a signal to TM who was hiding nearby. Like when you hear phone ring 4 times go to the house. Deed is done.

I need to digest more and think about all the testimony and evidence later.

I wanna become qualified as an expert in something so I can travel all over to testify!

My former husband was an expert witness in civil matters (large construction projects). He said it wasn't really fun. Lots of time spent in hotel rooms preparing to testify and flying out as soon as his testimony was done.

In reference to earlier testimony today that shows the calls between Them and when they started - remember this is what Sidney said which was obviously proven to be a lie with today's phone call data LOL:

"Sidney Moorer said he and Elvis were involved for roughly five or six weeks from about September to October 2013, but he said they didn’t have a “deep” relationship."

This was from an article April 2016:

Wow @ the speculation. I mean we're finally able to watch the trial itself.

I'm surprised at the surprise over speculation. We now know from the trial itself that indeed there was other movement that morning besides Heather sitting around at her condo, sad, and posting poetry in between phone calls. This has been a contention of many members who felt she may have been killed sooner, or at least that the crime didn't occur at PTL - because this wasn't as simple as she dated, went home, got a call from SM, was emotional, called Bri, then decided to contact SM and drive to PTL where she was swiftly killed and disappeared.

There are some plausible ideas being discussed. That makes sense since no one but the perps and the victim really know what happened. And none of them are talking.

This is not an 'evidence tells all' case. It's a case with gaps and no physical trail of a crime or body disposal. After LE had to kick their murder charge to the curb, I think a lot of people reconsidered the PTL theory. I never thought it made sense, and I always thought that more went on prior to the car going to PTL than was assumed. JMO
