Do you think that is because the judge doesn't involve his own emotions in a ruling, where as the jury probably would?

I think KT doesn't want to risk "guilty".

Totally throwing TM under the bus, she's going to be livid...watch SM

Truslow said there is no evidence the Ford F150 ever went to Peachtree Landing or the defendant was driving it.

The defense is saying there is no substantial circumstantial evidence that Elvis ever got into the truck, or that there was any forensic evidence that she was in it.

I'm surprised to see this is the way out in KT's mind. Why go to trial in the first place.

That's a lie. IMO

She probably knew it would happen. And SM knows the same thing will happen in her trial.

After the prosecution closes it case, the defense usually asks for a directed verdict which means asking the judge to make the decision of a "not guilty" decision. In almost every trial I have watched the defense has asked for this and it is usually denied. Basically I feel it is almost standard operating procedure by the defense who is basically saying "your honor the state has not presented enough evidence for the jury to make any decision other than "not guilty" so we are asking you do it now and that way we don't have to put on a defense".

Not necessarily. I think he'll leave it up to the jury since he relies on them so much.

What happened to Judge Dennis?

The judge is talking now. He said it's inconsistent for a young lady who was excited about her life to suddenly just vanish from the face of the earth.

In the judge's remarks, he said something happened in this time frame and there is no question the truck was somewhere in the area.

Wow, just paraphrasing ....

Judge said something like...."I wanna get back with my family, you are pregnant, I know how to dispose of this problem" (speaking as if he's SM).

Wow, sounds like the judge may actually think there is some guilt here!!

"The jury's gonna have to make that call." YES!
