SM is getting 5 months for violation of the gag order. Judge granted continuance but no decision yet on change of venue for retrial.

  • #144
Hopefully yesterday was his last full day of freedom and he spends the rest of his days behind bars.

Bet this was last thing he expected today.

I thought the gag order issue wasn't supposed to be until September 6th?

Yay for his 🤬🤬🤬 being thrown back in jail!

  • #146
OMG, I am SO happy they threw him in the slammer!!!!!

  • #147
Wonder if he'll actually serve the full 5 months. Kinda doubt it.

:jawdrop: :jail:

This ought to keep TM quiet for now. :happydance:

How many times is he going to go to jail trying to placate TM? At least one more time, I'm willing to wager.

How did I miss this hearing? Did we know about it ahead of time? So glad he was heading out to a jail cell! Not surprised about the lawyer change...He didn't seem too happy with KT during the trial. Guess TM didn't think the money they were paying him was worth it.

From the WBTW News video:

Defense asked that time served be considered. The Prosecutors wanted 6 months, in the end Judge Markley Dennis did sentence him to 5 months in jail.

[...]

At the end of day, the Defense also had asked that Sidney NOT be transferred to jail until Monday at 5.

The Judge said, "No. He's gotta go in immediately."

He was walked out of the courtroom and into jail today.

They kept it from all of us @lisette except WMBF News. I didn't see anything in Public Index. Should be on docket though. At least you would think...

Why should he get credit for ANY time served?! That had nothing to do with him violating the gag order! He was in jail for the murder/kidnapping. He should have given him the full 6 months!

That's the first thing I thought. If he serves the entire 5 months, he'll get a nice Christmas dinner, courtesy of the State. :D

I know Summer Dashe said on Twitter that TM wasn't there. From the few video clips, it didn't look like PC was there either. They seriously did not expect him to go into custody today, did they?

I don't think they saw it coming at all.

The judge is probably trying to redeem himself in the public eye after his unethical actions from the last trial.

BBM: That crossed my mind too.

My guess is that he will serve a third of the sentence and be out in 6 weeks.
