She's cold as ice: Three major events in a person's life have already happened to her in the last 8 months: The disappearance of a child in her care; a wedding; a divorce (pending).....Psychologists describe these major events as at the top of the list of stressors in a person's life, yet she has a flat affect. She should be rolled up in a ball nearly comatose, yet she's handling it with an aplomb that seasoned women cannot muster. She's lackadaisical about the pending divorce. It doesn't even register as a life changing event for her. It's an "oh well, maybe some time down the road we might get together again....."

Haleigh's disappearance is more upsetting in that they're looking at her LIES rather than at "the other side of the family". She has no more pooled eyes full of tears for Haleigh. She has a hint of anger that they would dare keep looking at her LIES.

"What is your fear for the future, when you look ahead?"

MISTY: "Just to get..bring Haleigh home. And have a normal life again."

"Do you worry about being arrested?"

MISTY: "I don't. I don't. I'm always being told different kinds of things, and I don't even pay attention to them."

She has only one fear: Haleigh coming home.

Wow Debs your post is compelling. You pretty well sum up my feelings. I did not see Misty appearance live this morning, but you seem to have watched closely and saw the deeper meaning of her address to the questions. You have a unique way of looking beyond what's said and what's really meant. I appreciate that.
The only thing I might disagree with is the part where she blames the other side of the family...to me, I saw that as her pointing the finger toward Ron's family, not specifically Crystal.

I remember when Matthew Solomon's wife was missing many years ago and day after day he had to face questioning by reporters and LE. When they found Lisa's body he practically bounced like a deer through the brush because he was relieved - even though he was the one that put her there.

Interestingly, she didn't mention her other suspects from the LVA video, Tommy and Joe. Did she figure that somewhere down the road she might need the Croslins again? Or simply that she looks guiltier herself if she comes from a long line of whackjobs and crooks?

Her answers were so vague (non-answers) that it was hard to tell what she meant. Last time she actually said nothing more than "I don't know" and sat there while the crickets chirped. so I guess it was better than that. I don't know why these news shows put these people on air. Do they honestly expect them to break the case wide open on morning TV? I know they want to keep missing children's pics on air. But it would be better if they would interview someone who actually will talk about the case. I really think we have heard all we are going to from Misty.

Whats sad is the poll that took place here, the was manipulated to cast without a doubt guilt on people who are not only cleared, but were hundreds of miles away- And it was done not because people actually feel like Marie did this, it was done because some people have to be right, be damned how far fetched the facts are, it has come down to defend Ronalds family no matter what, no matter the cost-

I thought the interview was sincere. The mother in me wants to give her a hug it seems like she has had a really tough life with nobody including her own mother to set a good example for her. I don't think she knows what happend to Haleigh, I don't think she was talking about Crystals family, I think she was referring to her own family. I just don't get the same cold vibe from her that I got from KC. She doesnt seem strong enought to hold out for this long. She has already lost everything now including her own family I think if she knew anything she would spill it.

Personally, I keep coming back to TM reporting that MC had not just failed, but failed miserably, her LDTs with a 90% rate of deception and also reporting that MC is hiding something in her Voice Stress Test. While we have only heard rumors on CS and RC passing their LDTs, TM has actually made reports that Misty failed her tests.

If she is truly innocent, why would she have failed these tests?

Misty is not innocent, imo, she's been obstructing this investigation for months upon months in spite of LE's incessant pleas for her to clear up her inconsistent statements. She has been told, repeatedly, that the forward momentum of this case depends upon her cooperation.

This is far beyond the stubborn insolence of a frightened teenager. If she is not guilty of the original crime against Haleigh-- she is certainly guilty for this! jmo and :furious:

First - Thanks PattyG for posting the video of Misty's interview this morning.

And second - CLEARLY Misty's media appearance(s) have absolutely NOTHING to do with getting the message out there in front of a national audience in an effort to help locate HaLeigh - Her sole objective in my opinion is to continue throwing other's (plural) under the bus until one of them gets caught in the wheel; today it was Crystal & family. Why isn't the media confronting her about the multiple accusations she's made toward others; Cousin Jo, Brother Tommy, Crystal & family... Something like, "Misty who exactly do you think did it because to date you've accused your cousin Jo, your brother Tommy, and Crystal & family? Why is it that the individuals you've "suggested" as being suspects also happen to be the individuals who have been widely speculated about and accused on various online forums/message boards? Do you see them as being believable alternative suspects, suspects that the public (and hopefully LE) will readily buy into? Now unless you beleive that all of the individuals you've accused thus far worked in concert together to abduct HaLeigh, which is extremely unlikely, EVEN more unlikely is the scenerio that HaLeigh disappeared from her bed at night in her home while under your care and low and behold!! there just happens to be 3 or more individuals, either directly related or closely associated, that could have done it - you must be the luckiest girl alive because the chances of somebody winning the lottery are better than ANY chance of that so-called scenerio. Question for Misty; Do you ever gag on your lies? Just listening to them makes me :sick: All my opinions -

I had hoped this new "friend" of Misty's would be a good influence on her, however, after the traffic incident yesterday, I seriously question the ability of this individual to make sound decisions for herself, let alone assist Misty in making them. What a mess. Well, personally, I'm glad the Orlando po po have been made aware of their new resident. Perhaps the kid gloves will come off...
