I believe that is the address on her driver's license. LE probably took the information off there.

Hello everyone, this is my first post on beautiful little Haleigh's case. I joined Websleuths a few months after she went missing, and by then the threads were in full swing and it's been hard to even try to keep all of the information straight. I don't believe Haleigh was kidnapped by a stranger. I do believe Misty C knows exactly what happened to this little girl. My question is, how in the world has she been able to get away with it for so long? We are not talking about an intelligent or sophisticated criminal mastermind - I honestly think this girl's IQ is hovering somewhere around 75. Are the police in Satsuma that incompetent or do they just not care or is Misty just that lucky? Very confusing all around. Hoping there is a resolution to this one in the near future.

Actually Curve, I had a link in my notes to an article where Misty discussed why she might have taken a second polygraph in succession early on.

Not a lot of info but she does state a reason, true or untrue, I just wanted to post it for you.

"I was sleeping," she said. "I don't know what happened."

A pair of her nephews who are about Haleigh's age were at the mobile home where Croslin and Ronald Cummings, 25, live about 5 p.m. Monday.

Because Tuesday was a school day, Croslin put the kindergartner to bed around 8:15 p.m. About two hours later, Croslin said, she went to sleep with Cummings' son, 3-year-old Ronald Jr., in the same room.

Cummings was at work.

Haleigh was asleep in a separate bed by the television set, a family member said.

Croslin said she did not hear anything or notice anything wrong until she got up about 3 a.m.

"When I went to sleep she was there," she said. "When I woke up she was gone."

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office took Croslin's 911 call at 3:27 a.m., around the same time Cummings got home.

Thursday she said she had volunteered to take a polygraph test -- two of them.

"I was so shook up that night, I kept moving," she said of how stressful it's been. "I couldn't stay still. I was crying."

"We have all offered to take lie detectors," Cummings said of his family. He said there was no reason to believe that he or his girlfriend failed them.

He said he is willing to do what is needed.

"If you need to draw blood, draw blood," he said.

Sheriff Jeff Hardy said Croslin took the test, but he would not discuss outcomes of any polygraphs.

"Misty has been interviewed extensively," Hardy said. He said neighbors in the area have been helpful and that families have been "extremely cooperative."~ end snip

Mia welcome! Misty is not a super criminal mastermind, but she is a survivor in life.
Her IQ in my opinion is higher than 75 and I'm always surprised at how many underestimate her. she maintains complex social relationships, I've never seen her at a loss for words except on the 911 call for Haleigh and when beside her beloved, Ron. If her demeanor suggests lack of intelligence, i think we should look towards the drug use. JMO

TM and Co., gave MC a polygraph, a VLA and hypnosis. I suppose that could be considered "several".

LE said they weren't surprised at the alleged results of TM's tests. That is about as meaningless as a statement can be. It neither confirms nor denies the results of the polygraphs given to MC by LE.

I am not trying to be argumentative, but to put words into people's mouths and infer the real meaning of what was said, or to try to discern what they meant to say is fruitless.

Until LE says "MC failed the LE adminstered polygraphs", all we can know for certain is that TM and Co., said she failed the ones they themselves put her through. We don't even know if she did in fact fail those tests or whether other polygraphers would disagree with TM and Co.'s assessment of their testing and/or procedures.

When there are that many lies involved, people usually get caught. Alot of lies amongst people is where LE trips them up. Unusual if that's the case it hasn't happened here yet.

The entire bunch of Croslins concern me. I think w/ Tommy's temper and drug use, plus the fact he places himself at the home that night, he could have potentially hurt Haleigh. The more I see of them the more this possibility concerns me. He also knows Misty is a heavy sleeper and he was over earlier and knew if she was smoking pot or popping pills, so she may have been completely knocked out, and he saw a window of opportunity. All moo. Are any of his children girls?

Baxter - yes I remember this NG segment. I wondered then, and do now, how the polygraph was administered, how many people were in the room and whether this guy was sent the actual printed paper or a copy, etc., etc.

I know little about polygraphs and am sure they have been advanced with technology, but when I used them my polygrapher told me that a copy of the paper isn't accurate enough for anyone else to review, it must be the original. All the tests took about 3 hours each and were performed in a quiet, darkened room with only the polygrapher and the testee present. In fact they were performed at my office after business hours - about 8pm, with the phone ringers turned off so there would be no outside disturbances.

I just thought it was strange that MC was given 3 different tests in one day, that there was perhaps more than one person in attendance during the polygraph, that family members were gathered just outside awaiting results, that she didn't want to take the test but had been threatened by GGS to take it or else and that she was in a room full of distractions. Furthermore, IIRC MC wanted to be hypnotized but got blind-sided with LVA and a polygraph too.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that any/all of these factors played a role in the outcome of the tests.

He is way off my hinkey meter! Why would he wait months to tell LE that he went there and Misty wasn't home? That whole story doesn't make any sense to me because by now Jr would've said that Misty wasn't home or that they went somewhere.

Since Haleigh has been missing he has gotten heavy into drugs, lost weight and then there was that night at Ron's home.

IMO Mr Tommy is in this up to his neck.

IIRC Misty was given the polygraph test in Orlando at Mark Nejame's office after office hours-he stated he was not there when this took place-he just gave them his office space to use. The other 2 tests (LVA and hypnosis) were given in Putnam Co. at Ron's aunts house on a different day. She was not given 3 tests in one day. The video (if there is one) of the polygraph was not released to the public-just the 4 questions Tim Miller stated she failed and gave the percentages. After Ron and Misty traveled to Orlando and Misty took the polygraph and was informed she failed it she then asked Tim Miller to set up more tests so she could prove she wasn't lying. That is when the other tests were set up and the people administering them went to Putnam Co. She wasn't blindsighted into taking more tests-she asked for them and Tim Miller arranged it.
You stated in your post "when I used them" (polygraph). Do you mind me asking what type of work you were in that you had to use them in? If you don't want to answer I understand-I am just curious for I have never taken one or seen one being given. And how accurate do you think they are, based on your experience? TIA

I do believe she holds the key. This whole thing has had me in circles since that morning call to my home and subsequent searches and questions. After defending Misty for so long I have come to the realization that she knows much more than she has told.

I do believe she holds the key. This whole thing has had me in circles since that morning call to my home and subsequent searches and questions. After defending Misty for so long I have come to the realization that she knows much more than she has told.
