Yes it would. Gun owners who care about their guns always clean them after firing them. I'm sure that Ron's explanation would be that the gun got debris on it while it was hidden.

IIRC the car they rode back in was hauled in by LE and gone over. It was the girl's car but I can't remember her name.

We can analyze that letter to death, but it's nothing but lies. Misty claim she was raped by Joe when they were younger, but in the VSA she says he messed with her when she was 6 or 7 years old. That makes Joe 8 or 9 at the time. So that's a lie. I wouldn't believe anything she says. As far as I'm concerned Tommy and Joe are innocent of all involvement. Unless she is willing to admit Ronald's involvement in all this, I don't care to hear another thing she has to say.

Wonder if this is the age that Tommy supposedly also "messed with" her? That would make him at least age 12-14. Older than either Misty or Joe.
