The defense keeps mentioning brain development. Is a physician, specialist or neurologist on the defense witness list to coordinate with this information? I recall that a premature closing of a suture was discovered on Caylee's skull at autopsy and I wonder if they will say this is genetic.

Well, as expected, here it is (snipped):

"Defense Lists Reasons Why Casey Shouldn't Get Death"

"She was taught to project false appearance, she was used as a decoy or pawn by her parents and a scapegoat for parental misconduct," said defense attorney, Anne Finnell.

The excuses they plan to use to convince the jury is Casey's lack of maturity, no impulse control, they said she has a history of sex abuse, insomnia, nightmares, no parental guidance or protection, verbal and emotional abuse as a child and poor coping skills."

CA said in her depo that her children never needed to be punished because they were good kids.

Yes, that is rather delusional (IMO)

This information bothered me so much today that I got a bad headache from the tension. Geez, what is the defense trying to imply. That killing a child is justified if a family is dysfunctional... Grrr Casey was an adult, she had the option to leave.
