If he's a cop or even still out there impersonating a cop, he can still wreak a lot of damage. With all the protests planned today, it might even be easier for him to steal another police car if he wanted or planned to. (Probably lots of protesters, lots of cops, lots of police cars; amid a very busy and chaotic scene, he might be able to slip into an unoccupied police car.) Jmo.

There were about 70 people listed on that manifesto.

Law enforcement found a hit list in the Minnesota suspect’s car that contained nearly 70 names, a law enforcement official briefed on the matter told CNN.

The names included abortion providers, pro-choice advocates, and lawmakers in Minnesota and other states, the official added. Law enforcement also found a Father’s Day card addressed to the suspect in a bag full of ammunition, the official said.

A second official briefed on the case echoed the targeting of abortion providers to CNN’s Holmes Lybrand.

What’s interesting is the first call is said to be at 2:00 AM, the second report is at 3:35 AM. Yet the locations as I understand, are only miles apart? What was he doing for an hour and a half in between?

I hope there aren't other victims somewhere. 90 minutes is a long time if you are trying to take out everyone on a hit list. You would think you'd want to move quickly before it was understood what was going on.

Not sure on the first, LE “proactively” went to the second location to check and found the suspect coming out if the house - cop car with lights on in the driveway.

Read back, all news reports reported the same details.

Leaving the lights on in the car in the driveway seems really brazen to me. Like an extra measure of brazen on top of the other brazenness.

If this turns out to be the suspect, then his work as CEO of a company that provides security services would make sense as to how he was able to impersonate a law enforcement officer.

"Praetorian Guard Security Services" sounds like the name of the company owned by the villian in a cheap action movie. It makes sense a political assassin would be a weirdo nutcase, so naming your security company something odd and unusual fits.
