MN - 2 Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses were shot by someone impersonating a police officer, JUNE 13,2025

What is going on? These are two separate targeted attacks? Shot in thier respective homes?

ABC News

Appears to be targetted attacks on both Hoffman’s home and Hortman’s home
A man was seen at the door of Hortman’s home, in a police officer uniform and a car that looked like a squad car was in the driveway

Stay safe, y’all we are humans first, Americans next, and that is all that matters

IMO

The list included US Rep. Ilhan Omar and US Sen. Tina Smith. Gov. Tim Walz was also on the list, in addition to Attorney General Keith Ellison. Dozens of other Democrats from Minnesota were also included on the suspects list, sources said.

What flipped this guy from being appointed by Walz to serve, to putting his name on a political hit list?

I hope he hasn't taken a hostage and managed to get into a home before residents in the area knew about the danger of opening their doors to a lone person dressed as a police officer.

LE is urging people in the area to call to check on family and friends in the area. And also not to open their doors to anyone who is alone and claiming to be a police officer, as authentic LE are travelling in pairs now.
I’m thinking the exact same thing. The three mile radius is secured, where is he?

killing people for his pro-life stance, has a job protecting people’s home and ends up killing people in their home :(

(not trying to make a political comment here, i think no matter our ideas about abortion we can all agree this is awful and no politician should have to fear this no matter their party. it just stood out to me)

i hope he will be caught soon.

I got my answer for how he was associated with DRC - apparently he made connections through working in the food industry.
Works for two funeral homes transporting bodies six days a week. Has a wife and five kids. Helped set up a food system in the Congo - philanthropic work. He took the job at the funeral home because it worked well with his schedule.

What a great guy … certainly doesn’t compute to turning into a murderer.

Bet he won’t be taken alive, JMO.

Hopefully he doesn’t have any clients in the area that he could have access to their home to hide. Police would have already looked into this no doubt.

Accomplice picked him up? He’s obviously a planner, so maybe he had a plan B mapped out in case he lost the vehicle. Any rivers in this area? On my phone so can’t throw up a map.

This sounds like a good 'excuse' to accumulated weapons, body armor and police-like vehicles.

The website isn't very extensive and the other 'leadership team' members besides Vance are only named by their first name.

Intro video of Vance Boelter. I can’t tell how old this video is.
Excellent find. From it I got..

The suspect has a wife and 5 kids. His 30 year career in the food industry gave him an opportunity to work in the Democratic Republic of Congo and help with their food security. The suspect was working 6 days a week at two different funeral homes doing shift work to pay the bills. This video looks like a class assignment for a funeral home related course.

Good governors, especially prior to this unprecedented political climate, take pride in being bipartisan in their appointments to these advisory boards. As long as Walz's staff read his application and thought he would do a good job serving for what they wanted, he would have been good to go. I've absolutely known of people here in Colorado who served in this sort of capacity and also quietly (or even not-so quietly) held very disturbing beliefs or were very opposed to the party whose official appointed them. Politics makes strange bedfellows, as they say.
