MN - 2 Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses were shot by someone impersonating a police officer, JUNE 13,2025

Works for two funeral homes transporting bodies six days a week. Has a wife and five kids. Helped set up a food system in the Congo - philanthropic work. He took the job at the funeral home because it worked well with his schedule.

What a great guy … certainly doesn’t compute to turning into a murderer.

Bet he won’t be taken alive, JMO.
I hate to say it, but sometimes people who look like wonderful people on paper (especially when self-described) are anything but wonderful in reality. Sadly, foreign countries with less privilege and oversight can provide cover for very bad people to do very bad things that would get them caught much quicker here in the US. Remember this recent example from our home state? It feels like you just can't trust anybody anymore.

Police are searching for Vance Luther Boelter, 57, who was appointed by Walz in 2019 to serve a four-year stint on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, sources told The New York Post

I’m curious about the flyers in his vehicle. If his “big” target was the protests then why would he give himself away by attacking two smaller targets first? Now they are ready for him. I mean I’m glad he’s apparently stupid, but also for such a careful planner it seems weird.

Looks like he resigned from the Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board sometime last year. Which is different from the Governor's Workforce Development Board.

I suspect he wanted to live at least long enough to see the media coverage of his hits, and especially his manifesto. Maybe his plan was to go to a pub to watch the tv, rather than using a phone to follow the news (because he knew his internet activity would be logged.)

"Praetorian Guard Security Services" sounds like the name of the company owned by the villian in a cheap action movie. It makes sense a political assassin would be a weirdo nutcase, so naming your security company something odd and unusual fits.
Praetorian Guard were the guards protecting top officials in the Roman Republic Empire. I guess it's to show they are well experienced and equipped. Julius Caesar refused Praetorian escorts when he was murdered by his own men.
