The true Pastors of a church would be looked into when applying or an interview to lead a church, though so many MADE UP churches in USA as well as elsewhere. Money is the thing. IMO

I’m curious about the flyers in his vehicle. If his “big” target was the protests then why would he give himself away by attacking two smaller targets first? Now they are ready for him. I mean I’m glad he’s apparently stupid, but also for such a careful planner it seems weird.

Maybe he hoped that by leaving the flyers, it would make people too afraid to attend the protests?

Or maybe he did plan to attack the protests but got caught way earlier than he expected. (I know he is not in custody, but police were onto him much sooner than I imagine he thought they would be.)

No idea! I wonder if ‘pastor’ was being used colloquially? He said in that class intro video that he and his wife started independently working to bring food to the DRC, and missionaries are often asked to speak at church services in their mission field. All MOO/specualtion

I did notice that on the large screen behind the podium during the church service in the DRC that it referred to VB as "Speaker - Dr. Vance Boelter (U.S.A.)" It didn't say "Pastor."

I wonder what made them make the leap to check on other potential victims starting with Hortman. Considering how many names of politicians were on that hitlist. I realize they weren't aware of a hitlist at that time but it does seem odd to me that they zeroed in on the very person who had also been shot.

Just speculating, but I think it is likely that local LE have had to provide security for their homes in the past, due to demonstrations, etc. since they are elected officials. So they would know the proximity of the closest other elected official in the area. Also, I heard one LE at a press conference who referred to former Speaker Hortman by her first name, so they clearly knew their state reps who lived locally.

The clothing description provided is different from the one initially given by LE, which identified the suspect as wearing blue pants, a blue shirt, and a black tactical vest. Did he change his clothes? If so, when? And where did he get a change of clothes since LE towed his vehicle?
