From Praetorian Guard website:

View attachment 595134
Features | Praetorian Guard Security Services

This sounds like a good 'excuse' to accumulated weapons, body armor and police-like vehicles.

The website isn't very extensive and the other 'leadership team' members besides Vance are only named by their first name.

Wow- strange-
I’m surprised this site is still up, they must have a website service so the two other people on the website don’t have access to quickly unlink their photos, email, and contact number.
The only kinda press they are going to get is bad press-

IMO

Good governors, especially prior to this unprecedented political climate, take pride in being bipartisan in their appointments to these advisory boards. As long as Walz's staff read his application and thought he would do a good job serving for what they wanted, he would have been good to go. I've absolutely known of people here in Colorado who served in this sort of capacity and also quietly (or even not-so quietly) held very disturbing beliefs or were very opposed to the party whose official appointed them. Politics makes strange bedfellows, as they say.
And he'd been appointed by Walz's predecessor, Mark Dayton. For these sorts of nonpartisan roles, I'm sure lots of times the new person keeps the previously appointed person aboard.

What does he have in his hand in that picture ? Cell phone?
Minnesota news reporters on air were asking that same question right after they aired the press conference. At the press conference, LE said that he was carrying a bag in the photo. So maybe the gun was in the bag (JMO), but don't know what was in his hand.

Before his plan fell apart, I wonder if he had expected to do these two hits then go back to his home and take up his life activities until the next hit or if he had made a break from his life and family and intended to down the list until he was caught. If it was the second idea then he must have had a plan of where he would stay between hits, that had clothes food etc. MOO MOO MOO

I’m curious about the flyers in his vehicle. If his “big” target was the protests then why would he give himself away by attacking two smaller targets first? Now they are ready for him. I mean I’m glad he’s apparently stupid, but also for such a careful planner it seems weird.

I’m relieved it appears he was working alone, I feared getting other notices today from other locations!

Be safe, all

It looks like a tactical flashlight to me.

ETA: it looks like he is holding a portable radio in the photo shared during the press conference; the other photo obtained by the media it looks like he is holding a flashlight

This is scarily thought out. Police cars and clothing. Realistic masks. Protective equipment. He is going to be exceptionally well armed and have quite a few contingency plans. It doesn’t come across as mental illness to me, the guy is a sociopath. IMO

Wonder if any if the cameras in the homes captured him?

That hat is a ridiculous thing to wear? Not the sharpest tool in the shed!!!! This isn’t Texas!

Yeah, agree on the stupid hat choice. And… it looks like a felt hat too.

Felt is a winter hat, it is HOT, so he would stick out in the south as an idiot or outsider for sure!
Straw hats are summer hats!

IMO

I wouldn’t think so, I think he was headed to the protests to go out with a bang

<modsnip: If it can't be linked to an approved source, it's not up for discussion>

Stranger and stranger
Just my opinion, I hope he is working alone

Be safe, All!

The car, clothing, and protective equipment he likely had relatively easy access to through the security company, but I agree that this was well-planned.

I highly doubt the security company had latex masks, so at a minimum he probably had to acquire that himself, plus he was somehow able to evade LE on foot after exchanging fire with them which leads me to believe he had some sort of contingency plan (‘go bags’ stashed nearby? An accomplice? Pre-planned exit routes?). MOO.

Hope they catch him quickly before he causes more harm.

He was the Director of the company according to its website, so yes, he'd have access. Only two other employees are named. It was named after the Praetorian Guard (the elite group of "security" who assassinated/imprisoned Emperors in order to get their own guy in). I believe they favored the use of poison.

Since he was basically the owner of this company I assume he could order whatever he wanted using his business account.
