SUSPECT IN CUSTODY MN - 2 Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses were shot by someone impersonating a police officer, JUNE 13,2025

“According to federal court documents, Jenny Boelter and some of her children left Green Isle by vehicle just hours after the shooting. Law enforcement contacted her by phone and arranged to meet her at a gas station close to her location at that time, which was about 150 miles away from Green Isle near Lake Mille Lacs.

An FBI special agent noted in an affidavit that Jenny Boelter had two guns, passports and about $10,000 in cash in her vehicle. They noted she was "cooperative" with law enforcement, but initially "was not forthcoming with knowledge of her husband being involved in something serious" after revealing Vance Boelter messaged her earlier that day to "take the kids and go to her parent's house and that there may be people with guns coming to the house."

Why was she following her husbands orders to escape instead of notifying police that her husband was the killer and advising them of his communications with her while he was on the run? Her failure to do so put the lives of LE and innocent people at risk. She didn’t turn him in, she remained silent for long time while attempting to escape with guns and a large amount of cash. Speaking religious platitudes shouldn’t absolve her of responsibility, JMO.

The man who murdered Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Holtman and her husband Mark left behind a letter he wrote to FBI Director Kashmir Patel.

“According to the charges, Boelter’s wife and other family received a group text from Boelter at about 6:18 a.m., saying, "Dad went to war last night… I don’t wanna say more because I don’t wanna implicate anybody."

He also claimed to have been trained by the U.S. military “off the books”.

Strange how this case is so incredibly quiet in the media.

In the letter, prosecutors say Boelter confessed to the shootings and said "he had been trained by the U.S. military off the books" and conducted missions for the military in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The letter further claims Walz approached him about killing Senators Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar. Prosecutors say Boelter claims that unnamed people threatened to hurt his family if he didn't follow through.

I agree w prosecutors - pure fantasy and delusion - delusions of grandeur.

Who knows if this is true or not, but if true then it sounds similar to the case of Ryan Routh who tried to assassinate President Trump. He made many trips over to Ukraine and VB also had foreign trips and dealings, so who knows. Both sound like they could have been mercenaries of some sort.

The same thing happened with the Ryan Routh attempted assassination case until the trial started recently. It was crickets for a long time.

Very odd -- is the (obviously false) claim that Gov Walz ordered the assassinations meant to provide cover whilst also deflecting charges of a clearly political series of attacks? Or simply more delusional thinking on the part of VB?

Do we think the partner was involved, or aiming to distance herself and family from the fallout as quickly was possible?

Where did the 10k (and other funds) come from, given VB's spotty job history?

Perhaps this explainer letter addressed to the FBI can be forwarded to the president, who is apparently unfamiliar with the case...

It could also be a diversion. Making assumptions about a dangerous assassin’s planning and motive without further investigation is a big mistake. It could also indicate a coverup

Even better, the Feds could fully investigate the case instead of shrugging it off.

I don’t know what “heartfelt” means in her viewpoint. Is it that she loves her husband and wants him to be acquitted even though he has admitted to the brutal premeditated political murder of 2 people and attempted political murder of 4 other people?

All of these people were kind and innocent. They were accosted in their homes in the middle of the night by a wily man who, through the use of significant financial assets of unknown origin, purchased vehicles, clothing and military-style gear disguised to make him look like a law enforcement officer. He roused them from their beds, forced his way into their homes and shot them with a military style weapon, killing two and leaving two others gravely injured and close to death.

If the wife is sympathetic to the killer and seeks his acquittal, she’s not a victim or deserving of pity or support. JMO. She may be an accomplice. She assisted in his attempts to escape. She needs to be thoroughly investigated to determine what she knows about how he acquired the funds to support his family and himself while plotting this political attack. She needs to be thoroughly investigated for the large amount of money she used in her attempts to escape from the area after the murders.

She has a lot of questions to answer about how these murders were planned and who provided the money to help carry them out. All of that is being ignored right now and that’s very troubling.

The prosecution definitely needs her testimony. They need to be asking how this murder conspiracy was planned and funded. They need to ask who provided funds and how they provided them to facilitate the escape of the wife and family of the killer. All of that investigation needs to be transparent and fully accountable under the law.

Two people died in a premeditated political assassination and 2 others were injured. It’s not a typical murder.
She knows her actions on the day look well dodgy, so her priority now is saving her own skin.
