2:01 p.m. - Mike Liebhard, 59, said he left his home on 301st Avenue Sunday morning in Faxon Township and saw a black, “older little car, like a Buick” on the side of the road near the intersection.

Officers were seen searching around the car, and exiting from the woods to the west around 1:40 p.m. It appeared to be a black sedan, with its doors opened as officers looked around. Media members were not allowed to get closer than a little less than a mile from the vehicle. Parked to the south on the highway were at least a half dozen police squad cars. There was a blue tarp lying on the gravel just behind the car next to the trunk.

The Rev. Mcnay Nkashama, who organizes missionary trips to Africa that Vance Boelter participated in, said in a brief phone interview Sunday that he never saw any red flags with Boelter previously.

“I am trying to make sense of what might have triggered all of this,” he said. “I am extremely confused. I’ve known him long enough to be highly shocked.”

Nkashama described Boelter as kind, gentle and generous. He said Boelter never indicated he was troubled and the two had a good relationship “as God’s people — in that sense.

KARE 11 live is sharing that VLB likely walked from the second crime scene to the Fremont house, about 7 miles, estimating a walk time of 2.5 hours.

IMO he's either on the move, outside the county, with a significant lead, or he's hidden himself in a structure somewhere.

My son just tried to come through the area. He was detoured north on 311th/Co Rd 25 which seems to be the furthermost West side of the perimeter they are working on. They are still in the area. Google maps still shows Co Rd 25 closed. Still a very large police presence in the area. Per Kare 11 Livestream locals are receiving texts from BCA alerting them of an impending search of their property with requests to leave.

That makes sense. Roughly 3:35 AM, he slips out the back door. Shows up at the rental in the cowboy hat on video, breaking the car window with the hammer, somewhere around 6 AM?

How did he get from the rental to where he shows up next in the black Buick?

MOO The remaining people on the hit list are in pretty big danger.
He got into the victims' house dressed as a policeman, he also wore a silicon mask for the surveillance cam.
Probably the cowboy outfit has been shed for white collar or trucker drag.
MOO Very likely someone is helping and resupplying him.

I'm not surprised that they've got roads blocked all over.

KARE11 is recycling their own news, I believe those alerts went out a few hours ago.

Clearly it's an active, fluid situation.

I worked at 7/11 for a few years. I worked for a woman that had her own store. 7/11 definitely hires and recruits people for those GM positions . The business model is used world wide and has a structure similar to other non competing companies. So A leap from GM to CEO is not that hard to reconcile for a lesser preforming company. IMO.
