From looking at Alayna's Moms Facebook (she has a post on ZA' FB), yes, a younger son.

Can you post a link to the perp's FB? There are so many Zachary Andersons.

TIA

I am begging you Mothers.

Protect your children!

Be 100% on guard.
I don't think this is quite fair unless more details come out that say the parents were abusing drugs, etc.

There is nothing (yet) showing the mother didn't protect her child. They had family friend staying in their house. Not a stranger. The dad's coworker, whom he probably knew very well. If you look at the suspect's FB page, he looked VERY normal, had pictures in social situations with normal looking people, etc.

I don't think it's fair at all to judge the parents here, based on what I've read thus far.

If that information is accurate, he spent some time in Todd County.

'Matt Ertl’s cellphone was in the truck that Anderson had taken, and the phone pinged about 9 a.m. in nearby Todd County, authorities said.'

Did I hear correctly that ZA was found with his dad's vehicle, even though he stole Alayna's dad's vehicle? I'm wondering if he switched vehicles at some point, perhaps in Todd County??

I might have this wrong. I'll check....but maybe someone here knows.

Doesn't look that way according to this link

' A truck stolen by a man accused of abducting and killing a 5-year-old girl was found near the crime scene'. (ABC 5 Eyewitness News)

"Anderson is accused of driving Ertl away in her father's vehicle, with her dad's cellphone still in the car, officials said.

Local law enforcement searched the neighborhood and contacted the family's cellphone provider in an attempt to locate the pair.

After officials issued an AMBER alert, the stolen vehicle was found at a rural cabin owned by Anderson's family, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety said in a statement Sunday.

The cabin was empty but police dogs found Anderson in a wooded area around a quarter of a mile away just before 4:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. ET), the department said."

Still no mention of SA. Interesting.

I see information from the scanner made MSM now - family property and swampy area. Blech.

Anyone know how to check if he is on the docket to appear today? Crow Wing County.

"Anderson didn't attempt to flee or resist arrest, officials added, saying that information he provided led to the discovery of Alayna's remains in a swampy wooded area a few hundred yards from the cabin.

The girl died as a result of 'homicidal violence,' according to the medical examiner's autopsy released by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety on Sunday."

I don't know how to bring his mugshot over, but did you notice what appears to be 3 scratch marks on his right cheek?
