Vigil Held to Mark 2-Year Anniversary of Barway Collins' Death

An emotional vigil was held Saturday, two years after Barway Collins was last seen alive.

A dozen people gathered at the boy's grave site Saturday afternoon to pray and honor Barway's life.

They said they can't believe it's been two years since the disapperance.

Barway's biological mother, Louise Karluah, said she's thankful for the "community support."

"I'm feeling so emotional today, and like, it just happened from the first day," Karluah said.

Plans are in place for a memorial at Becker Park, with the statue hoping to be completed in the summer or early fall.
