He seems to get aroused because the balls are sweaty. Maybe he slashes them thinking the sweat smell will come out more.

Maybe his mom will buy him some used sweaty gym balls for his birthday or Christmas. This dude has got a major issue going on. No sweaty balls are safe when he is nearby.

While he sounds like a bit of a (sexually) odd duck, he doesn't think he's so weird; just a product of fetal alcohol syndrome, bipolar depression, and cerebral palsy. Authorities aren't so sure, and say that if he goes back to ball slashing they may lock him up for good as a sexual psychopath.

a plea agreement was reached Wednesday in St. Louis County District Court.

Bjerkness told police he was riding his bike from church May 8 when he needed to go to the bathroom, which is why he entered a school run by Northwoods Children's Services.

Bjerkness, 33, told police that he was "just trying to find a bathroom." He said he was able to slide a window open at the academy at 714 W. College St., and crawl in...

A staff member told police that a man later identified as Bjerkness was found in the play therapy room, and an investigating officer observed several large exercise balls in the area.

Wednesday, he was given a stayed sentenced of 27 months.

Bjerkness will be placed in a specialized treatment group home tomorrow and will be under supervised probation for four years

Bjerkness’s criminal record includes convictions in 2005, 2006 and 2009 for entering fitness and physical therapy settings and damaged exercise balls. In one incident, he slashed more than 70 exercise balls at the University of Minnesota Duluth’s fitness center with a knife.
