St. Paul police are asking for the public’s help after a 17-year-old boy went missing Monday.

According to police, the boy, named Chuejee, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Monday on his way home from school.

Chuejee is described as 5-foot-6, 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

Anyone who has information is asked to call St. Paul police at 651-291-1111.

The family of a 17-year-old missing from St. Paul for two weeks has been searching for him non-stop and they’re asking others to join them.

Police requested the public’s help on April 18 to find Chuejee Thao, who has been missing since April 15. The Highland Park Senior High School student was last seen on the Robert Street Bridge in downtown St. Paul, according to his family.

Thao’s family said they are searching for him daily — his parents have been taking time off from work and his sister, Pa Kou Thao, said she left her job indefinitely since she returned from Japan to help, which has drained their financial resources. *modsnip*

St. Paul police said Tuesday that they have video of Thao jumping into the Mississippi River. Authorities have not been able to start searching for the body yet due to high water levels but are working with Hennepin County to begin recovery efforts.
