The Minnesota BCA is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 20 year old from Cloquet.

Dakotah Jayde Abramowski was last seen in Cloquet on January 5th.

Abramowski was reported missing on February 19, 2019. He was last seen in Cloquet on January 5, 2019. He is 5'10", 170 lbs., has hazel eyes, brown hair, and was wearing dark clothes.

Cloquet is about 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. A small town right outside of Duluth.
The weather is supposed to be bad there again. Hoping he is in a warm shelter safe from the elements.

It could be tied into why he is missing but he arrested for DOMESTIC ASSAULT-MISDEMEANOR-COMMITS ACT TO CAUSE FEAR OF IMMEDIATE BODILY HARM OR DEATH and INTERFERING WITH AN EMERGENCY CALL (Carlton Co. Courts) http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/default.aspx (NOTE: There's a notice on the court site that the system is experiencing errors so you may not find his record on your first search). But I could not find a conviction so it may not be that at all. Minnesota's BCA does maintain a Minnesota Missing and Unidentified Persons Clearinghouse that posts information about children who have been reported missing to a law enforcement agency. Appropriate information on missing adults and/or unidentified persons is also included.

Although his mother did not confirm if Dakotah Abramowski was found dead or alive, the Gitchigumi Scouts from the Fond du Lac reseervation posted on Facebook Saturday saying Dakotah Abramowski was found dead. The group searches for missing and murdered indigenous people in the Northland and on the reservation. His sister, Tiffany Abramowski, shared the post by the Gitchigumi Scouts as well as a picture of her brother with angel wings."

The BCA might have been assisting in the investigation of his disappearance, because they had reason to believe he was in danger and/or the danger to him being on Tribal land. I don't think city police help with incidents on tribal land.
