There is only one Williams in custody in Dakota County right now. He was arrested on a W. St. Paul warrant while in Hennepin County. He is currently awaiting sentencing on a felony domestic assault charge. He does not go back to court until Jan 2019. I hope that he is not using this kid as collateral for this sentence he is about to get.

I'm confused. If I'm looking up the right person, which I believe I am, he was arrested and booked on 10/3/2018 (is that right?)
and according to the news article, the "mother, who has sole custody, reported her missing Tuesday night" 11/13/2018
So.....that's 41 days.

I must be missing something here or have dates confused or something. The mom hasn't had contact with the father, who was watching the child at the time, for 41 days and also hasn't seen her daughter in 41 days but just filed a missing persons 2 days ago?

I know. This is a strange one!

My God, can these missing persons cases get any more crazier?

Where is this darling child?

The mother waits 41 days to report her missing, meanwhile, Dad's up the river since 10/3?

It's likely been longer than 41 days;

He was arrested 41 days ago, but how long before that did he get the child?

Agree, and what did he do with her? Hopefully he gave her to a family member or a friend. I don't want to go down that path that another innocent darling has been murdered. Way too many has lost their lives this year in a cold and brutal fashion. Praying for a misunderstanding and a happy ending for darling Dream. She is just too stinking cute!

This is the second case in just a couple of weeks with the same theme... daddy takes baby and won't give baby back... in MN. What is going on? It probably has something to do with the poor father laws they have there. The mothers can say, nope, you are not seeing him/her. And if they don't go to court and have a judge make an order for the visitation rights then they don't have any, really. A lot of the father's do not have the funds to hire a lawyer to do this. So, they are just 🤬🤬🤬 out, basically.

Except she was in the care of her father at the time, so the mother was allowing him to see/care for her. Perhaps the plan was even for him to care for her for an extended period of time? That's the only thing I can figure makes sense with the 41 days. But it still seems odd to me that the mother wouldn't have been in contact with him to make sure things were going smoothly or maybe even to "talk" to her daughter on the phone during this time. With Dad in jail since October, he obviously couldn't be calling/texting/sending pics of the child to her as reassurance, so was another family member doing this with his phone and that's why mom thought nothing was amiss the last month and why police believe the baby is with close friends or family? Or was mom just really out of touch the last month and a half herself as well?

This is a real head scratcher. I'd be interested to know when exactly mom last saw the child, what the original plan was in terms of how long dad was supposed to have her,if she received any photos/videos of the child since he's had her and what prompted the missing persons report on Tuesday (vs. much sooner).

Great news!!!
I do hope social services steps in, tho. A mother that doesn't care to see or even hear from her baby girl in a month and a half...

Oh thank God this sweet child is safe! I’m sure hoping that CPS will be vigilant in this case. This should never happen.
