[FONT=&quot]The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says 78 year old Eugene Harstad is missing. He was last seen at home near Alexandria, MN on the morning of Friday, May 4th, 2018. Authorities say Harstad was involved in a minor crash later that day in Alexandria and made a series of ATM withdrawals throughout West Central MN over the weekend. He purchased fuel in Wahpeton, ND on Monday morning. The most recent ping of Harstad’s phone locates him in Wilkin County; however, the phone is most often turned off...

That seems very deceptive with the phone being off and on. Maybe he is saving the battery.

Atms have maximums so could explain multiple trips.

Otherwise it seems strange for an elderly man to be doing.

I wonder if he's alone? Did someone "join" him and is making him take out the money, etc.... I'm guessing he's been identified as the one making the withdraws via video.

Makes me wonder about emerging cognitive issues. Especially with the minor crash, and the series of ATM withdrawals. Possibly forgetting he had already withdrawn money previously?

I say this because it is so similar to how a family member's cognitive issues started to show. She had a minor wreck, which she couldn't describe to us how it happened. She also withdrew money repeatedly though she insisted she didn't remember doing so.

She was still functional, but these are just a few of the ways she started to unravel.

That's just one possibility of course. Hope I'm wrong though, and whatever the reason is for the cause of his behavior, I pray he will return safely.

I'm especially praying no one else is with him forcing the withdrawals, who might also harm him...
