RBBM I am going to respectfully disagree with you, and I don't do that lightly. I think there is enough evidence with the pictures I have seen to lean heavily towards a contaminated scene. Of the hundreds of missing person scenes I have been called to, I would would make an educated guess that 75% of them were contaminated by the time I arrived. This seems no different.

That seems legit. But what is it that you think we are missing because of this? Footprints and tire tracks were still recovered from the scene, maybe not in there entirety, but at least over 90 percent so.

90% of what was recovered?

Why did LE note that Kevin's tracks were recovered at the end of the driveway and not up around the loop?

Over 90 percent of what they could recover was there still, imo. The statement in the article is just a single sentence, the article or LE didnt care to elaborate, there surely is more to that.

This is a link to the beginning of the thread. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it?

Read the different newspaper accounts of what DR said.

Right at the time.

Depends on what you think is the end. The end to me means up by the house

Based on what happened that night you would only expect to find tire tracks and foot prints. LE got a trace on both of these despite any trampling. I dont believe their trampling could remove a set of tire tracks completely.

There could have been some small piece of evidence, other than a complete set of tire tracks, that could have been inadvertently destroyed. Sometimes all it takes is something small.

It is what it is, we cant dwell on what was lost.

I respectfully disagree. The end of the driveway is the end....next to the street. The beginning is up near the home.

IMO, there were only tracks near the bottom of the driveway because whoever was driving - if they did go all the way up and turn around and not just back out - was over on the softer, less used part of the driveway there, and then moved over to the hard packed portion of driveway the rest of the way up the driveway.

No search warrant was issued in 1989 for the DR property and homestead. One was issued in 2010, but not 1989. A search warrant would have been needed to search inside the Rassier house. The lack of a search warrant is more than enough proof to show that LE DID NOT search inside the Rassier home and farm after the abduction in 1989.

Now, where is the proof that DR has continually changed his story? If one is going to accuse the only named POI in this case, than the onus is on that person to show inconsistencies in what was reported. Newspaper quote's don't cut it. Audio or visually unedited proof does.
How do you know there were no search warrants executed in 1989? It's documented in newspapers there were as many as 18 warrants served prior to the 2010 search. We only have information on about 5 or so of them. There is no reason to believe one or more of those were not served on the Rassier farm.

Regarding the changing of the story, that's not something that's ever been publicly documented. The operative words here are "publicly documented." But, based on unofficial information, if I were a betting man I would put my money on it that he changed his story.
Easiest question I've ever answered on here. Because Dan has said there wasn't a warrant executed.
<rbbm>

That statement is unsubstantiated, an opinion rather than a fact. One which you're entitled to, mind you. You're just not allowed to state it as a fact on WS.

Thanks.

It is interesting how people view different things because when I refer to the end of my driveway, I mean thr end by the garage. To me, that is where my driveway ends.

So, unless we get an answer from LE, IMHO, end of driveway can mean either end.
The beginning of the driveway to me is by the road.

For instance, if someone tells me that a free piece of exercise equipment is placed at the beginning of the driveway, I picture it by the road.

I was just stating what could happen when a crime scene is contaminated, no matter how small the contaminated area is.

DR has been quaterbacking this case since he made his first 911 call. He walked through the crime scene and has taken us for a loop with differences in what happened that night. What did he see that he can't talk about? When will the full story be told? Or would that mean this case is solved.

Not sure about the club of pedophiles, any evidence to back that up? DR's computer was seized in the second search of his farm.
Behind the pine curtain has a pretty detailed list of known pedophiles and sex offenders only a 10 minute drive away from where Jacob was abducted apparently. I know the circumstances brought up by the family for help denied by the Abbey in the days after he was missing is pretty discomforting by itself.

I don't know anything about the Abbey and Jacob. Do you have some information about that?

Can you explain what circumstances you are referring to in the part I bolded? I wasn't aware of the abbey denying help - or are you referring to the abbey not letting them see what was on certain monk's computers?? Thanks!

Josh G's family was denied help by the abbey, but I have not heard this was true of Jacob. Are you confusing the two?

LOL - all the debate about the "end" of the driveway is cracking me up. To me, both ends are the end, and both are the beginning. :-)
