There are so many molesters in that area, that the choices are mind blowing.

If you are following the case of Justin Ross and his son who died in the car, it is unreal how much LE knows.

LE did not choose DR for POI for no reason.

I sure do wonder what info they have.

The info LE had on Josh Powell was astounding. Yet, he was not arrested ever.

I wonder why LE was able to get a search warrant for DR's computer earlier?

Jared saw his abductor and also knew DR from Middle School.

Based on information that I have come across, I believe that DR has a solid alibi for the night Jared was abducted. He was playing a gig in Eden Valley with Betty Wolf of the Deutschmeisters.

There are too many similarities between Jared, Jacob and the Paynesville abductions/attempted abductions to simply state that the choices are mind blowing. It takes an awfully crazy person to do what happened to Jared and Jacob. Those two weren't lured like what happened at St Johns, these two were spotted and taken. There's a big difference between what happened at St Johns and what happened to Jacob and Jared.

For those that think DR is guilty...don't you find it a little bit amazing that in DR's 25+ years of teaching, he's never ONCE had a complaint against him involving misconduct with a student?! If someone was capable of kidnapping, molesting, and doing who-knows-what with a young boy, could they remain completely professional and normal for 25+ years as a teacher?

I just think it'd be hard to hide that psycho part of your personality for that many years with nearly constant contact with students. (I will concede that DR did act weird surrounding the night of the abduction, acting like he could care less what happened right on his property...but could he really contain that psycho urge for so many years around students?!)

I don't know anyone who has disappeared a child ( I hope), but I do know of a teacher who had inappropriate interest in male students. He was also a coach.

I think he had an inappropriate relationship with a student who killed himself.

Once Jacob was kidnapped and schools started on teaching kids about inappropriate touching, this teacher became very circumspect with his behavior. He was not stupid.

He was never accused of anything, that I know of. My friend and I researched him because we did not approve. But we could never prove anything.

I have no idea what this teacher did to feed his interests after the public became eduated.

First case in US 1987.

My guess is that this was small town USA and whatever methods were used probably were very primitive back then.

The thing is, Jacob's case may have nothing at all to do with Jared's. Yes, I can see why some would connect them, but there are a lot of sickos out there. Jared was let go. Jacob has never been seen again.

From all that I have read, I have never thought the two cases were connected.

As far was someone suggesting that DR isn't responsible because he has never had a complaint from a student as a teacher, that means nothing. I'd argue many can separate their professional life from their personal, no matter how perverse it may be. It happens all the time. And has mentioned, who knows what DR does outside of school.

I feel he was involved or knows what happened to Jacob that night. Again, though, my opinion.

Than the abduction, sexual assault and release of Jared in early 1989. Finally the abduction and kidnapping of Jacob in the fall of 1989. The perp grew more brazen due to not getting caught. Reports from Paynesville/ColdSpring/StJoseph all include a small 4 door vehicle.

It's not a strip club, it's a downtown college bar that becomes crowded with 21 year old students on Friday and Saturday nights. There is billiards, dancing, and music.

The descriptions tell me a man like this does not "fit in" at the Red Carpet on a Friday night. Like I said this is a college bar full of young adults, this guy is said to be in his 40's. He more likely could have been the plumber, bartender, owner, bouncer etc.
