My god, this whole time its been a garys pizza delivery driver. Astonishing and confounding.

Pizza delivery employees come and go with the direction of the wind. Who would recall a worker from 1989?

Well the information is from 1990, so it's fairly relevant. In all the discussion of possible perpetrators, there was only one person that's not been named in all of this, that would have seen the boys at home without parents, and that is the pizza delivery person.

I'm sure they were checked out though.

They had to drive fast to get the pizzas delivered on time, There is no down time for a delivery driver if they are at a good place.

I always worried though as pizza delivery drivers are at risk for having crimes committed against them.

My son had a tremendous amount of speeding tickets. He was an easy target for police. Looks good for statistics and no danger to police. No weapons, no violence. Pizza delivery boys. Easy pickings

LE knew there was a car so that is why they went with the idea because it was a car track that was not identified.

DR's imaginary descriptions of cars did not include a car like Kevin was using that night.

In 2004, the driver of the vehicle they had been tracking for 15 years is now found, the driver of that vehicle came forward. Fbi and LE succesfully accounted for the tire activity on that driveway between the times of 9 15 pm to when they secured the scene at 9 45.

Just a quick note to settle a recent debate about the color shade of the car that Jared described. It was a dark blue car, as Find Tim suggested it was. One of the articles in the Cold Spring Record errantly reported it as a light blue car. It was the interior of the car that was light blue in color, with dark blue trim.

Did you talk to Jared? Or how do you know the paper was wrong?

This Cold Spring paper had it as dark blue back in 1989. The Times just said it was a "blue car" and didn't specify shade. So I guess I missed the debate.

There was an excellent description of the car and it was written about. it was probably on Tv as well.

People like to give information so I am sure that any car that was close to the description was offered up to police.

Portable police scanner, handgun, familiarity of roads, familiarity of the kraemers, overall confidence, happens at night and on weekends when off duty

I have spoken with a friend of mine who is in LE and when i asked him what kind of person he thinks has a portable police scanner, he replied "nosey people" "people who want to know if the ambulane or police are down the street". I then said so either criminals or off duty LE, he replied "off duty LE don't care what happens, security guards love scanners" "if LE listens to radio for 10 to 12 hours a day, the last thing they want to do is listen to a radio"

Anything is possible. I sent a comparison photo in to Stearns County LE a couple years ago showing how much one of their own deputies, who is a RSO, looked like the suspect sketch with the hat. Phillip Jerome Meemken is in our who's who. Video at link.

thanks shergal.....he's the first guy I thought of in regards to a member of LE looking like Jared's suspect sketch. Not sure if it means anything or not in this case.

It mystifies me too. Isn't it frightening to think that this perp is still out there? Whether or not Jared's case is related/unrelated to Jacob's case?

I would assume so....but we don't really know do we? As a matter of fact...shouldn't we know who the pizza delivery person was AND also who was/were the clerk(s) working at the Tom Thumb that night, October 22, 1989. At the very least to establish a factual basis of characters involved(voluntary or involuntary as it were) with the actual scenario? I've seen mention of a Jerzak girl(daughter of Merle Jerzak) but nothing beyond that. Seems appropriate that these facts should be established before assuming LE accounted for the pizza delivery 'person'....it's unknown as far as I can tell.
