DM started her research and investigating since 1997. The Bahners just need to be investigated much further.
There needs to be oversight on this case; especially since they've been batting -0- so far, and there's material that needs to be investigated, and it has not. Believe me, I've talked with DM since December of last year. At the very least, her information should be fully reviewed.

Apparently Sheriff isn't turning over rocks. Just because he's a Sheriff, doesn't mean everything that comes out of his mouth is truthful. In fact, he's not telling the truth on one aspect of this: He didn't turn over any rocks on DM's information....ok, well, maybe one, but there's a whole pile there ready to be turned over, and it's not being done.

There's been alleged cover-up for decades in Stearns County when it comes to child abductions, murdered children, and molested children. This isn't just a problem there, it's a problem everywhere. Unless people are willing to look outside the box, and understand the corruption in the billion dollar child trafficking industry, this Wetterling case will never be solved. Anyone who doesn't not agree with the way this investigation (or lack of investigation) is being handled, they will automatically be discredited by Stearns County, and they will be labeled.

I've only been dealing with this for over 2 1/2 years.....DM has been dealing with it for 18. She's volunteered her own time, resources, and spent her own money to do the research she has done. At the very least, she should be respected for the hard work and energy she put into this. There's more to this than you know. I provided her email for those that want to contact her. I think that was generous of her, considering she has her own life to live, her own stresses, and most of all, just plain tired of trying to get this looked into.

I think those of us who have been on WS a longer time have seen all kinds of scam artists doing things in cases.

It is getting worse and worse as raising money for missing children seems to be a new way to make money.

I am very wary of people who make claims . I think those people should be investigated before anyone jumps on their bandwagon. You may be surprised at what you find out about schemers

Who are you referring to? The only thing DM has done is spend her own time and money on her research. You have to get facts, not assume someone is a scammer because they're newer to the WS? I wouldn't post anything regarding this case without much thought behind it, and backing up the information with other professionals. When someone works in law enforcement for 30 years, and they have a great deal of experience in investigating child pedophile rings, I consider them a good source.

I'm just saying, The Sheriff's office is aware of this OTHER information related to the tapes, and the tapes they had in evidence have disappeared. The OTHER information has not been fully investigated, if investigated at all. The BCA and FBI have been on and off the Wetterling case for years. The LOCAL FBI looked at some of DMs information in the beginning of her research, which started in 1997. As far as I know, nothing else regarding the Bahners have been investigated. Maybe we're wrong, and they have been investigating the Bahners further, but why wouldn't they go to the person who can serve them voluminous amounts of information on a silver platter? Wouldn't that be easier?

We both spoke with the FBI in Minneapolis 7 weeks ago. They have 6 of the recordings, and they spoke with Diane. So far she has not been contacted for the rest of the information. She has been doing this dance for 18 years.

It's time for people to rethink a few things. This is not a good situation, and I'm spending my own time, energy, and resources in this also. I take it very seriously. If you have any further questions, I encourage you to send me a PM, or an email, and I'll be happy to tell you about my frustrations dealing with a judicial system that enables pedophiles to keep raping, abducting, and selling kids. I can also tell you about good agents who get compromised as well.

Look at the score. It's time for a reality check, as another reason I posted here was to see how many people are willing to step up to the plate and demand answers on this case, and others cases.

I spoke with a relative of Josh Guimond, and let me tell you, that was a sad conversation. Stearns county has left them feeling broken! This is all very, very sad, and very, very tragic.

Yes she did say this, but she also said that she lied to them about making it up. She was scared. I'm not saying this has to be the ONLY clue/lead, but there's other information that needs to be looked into also. The Bahners are dangerous pedophiles, and they need to be fully investigated....not partially. There's a lot more than just the five or six tapes posted on line. They just need to meet with DM, and go over all of it before they can say it's fully investigated. I hope the FBI in Minneapolis contacts her.

If the FBI and the state police and the local sheriffs office have all talked to her initially and dismissed her, why would we believe her? How do we know that she's not just some crackpot?

Thank you, I appreciate it, but I've seen all of this. I've been talking with DM, and the Sheriff's office has not looked at ALL the evidence on the Bahner Brothers. They cannot say this until they meet with Diane, and go over the other 85% of the information.

Have you noticed that all "leads" lead to nothing? I've seen other so called leads posted in the news, but no detail on the Bahners. Why? There's plenty of it, but the rest of it hasn't been looked at yet.

Well, I'm pretty sure Stearns county screwed up any investigation from the beginning. They are not exactly seasoned investigators and no I really don't think the fbi is giving much more thought into it either. It's a cold case and will probably never be solved. I can pretty much guarantee its not the local band geek and not an Internet sex ring. If you know anything about offenders you would look elsewhere.

I think there are more than four of us keeping Jacob's case alive so it does not disappear on here like so many other missing children have on WS.

No....I said Stearns County Sheriffs. FBI agents have looked into this. Several were put on the case, and several were pulled off the JW case. This has been doing a 360 for over two decades, and they always come up with -0-. There has been a BCA agent and an FBI agent made aware of the Bahner brothers situation, and a possible third party. As I said, it's something that needs to be investigated much further. (my opinion) They haven't because they never looked at the rest of the information. Someone doesn't work on this for 18 years, and not have voluminous amounts of documentation and records, and other information. It's just something that needs addressing. I've stated this to an agent in Minneapolis.

Cool. You have info. Contact the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Contact ICE. Don't give up. Not everyone can be corrupted as we see all kinds of judges, lawyers, etc busted. Maybe get a hold of Anonymous. They do stuff all of the time.

Believe me, Diane is no crack pot. Are you aware of the corruption in Stearns County? Anyone who questions the Sheriff's investigation is a "crack pot". They have not looked at all she has. Email, and find out for yourself. I'm not going to debate this any longer. Being objective is being open to the fact that not all cops are good cops, and in fact, when it comes to child sexual abuse, the cover-ups are massive. I know some of the tapes are on line. In fact when NCMEC heard them more recently, they were quite disturbed! Also, why would they send the information on to Stearns County...AGAIN? Apparently they didn't have them, and when Pam Jensen talked with Diane, she said she didn't know what Diane was talking about, because they didn't have any tapes there. They were there, and then they were gone.

You have to know the whole story before you sling mud, and assume someone is a crack pot. I'm disappointed to hear this, and I was hoping more people would be open minded and supportive of someone who has worked very hard for 18 years, spent her own money, only to deal with this?? There's two people in law enforcement who back her up. There's also others who back her up. Even if ALL of this in not completely connected, she still deserves respect. This is about kids, and the safety of kids. Working together in an objective way helps find answers. It's hard NOT to consider this information when you've heard what I heard.

You don't have to agree, but please don't make assumptions that someone is a crack pot until you know MORE facts. One thing that is a fact: Law enforcement lies, and they lie a lot. The private investigator I have spoken to over a period of months has worked as a federal agent, and also as a private investigator, and he's got a lot of FACTS on how things work with the FBI, BCI, and The Justice System.
