What produced such a raid style search warrant? They came with a reason and left with a reason for being there.

I question whether the address for Jared's assault is correct. It was reported to be 4 to 5 miles outside of town which would have been Hollinger's trailer was 4 miles from Pioneer Park. I was thinking more to the west of his trailer as in the area by these radio towers this photo. Jared didn't sound 100% himself.

DR withheld eyewitness accounts of vehicles until investigators went to him the following morning
DR had his house searched 5 days after the abduction, despite the evidence up on the driveway
DR had videotapes of recorded news stories about the abduction
DR had photos he had taken, possibly relating to the case
DR had a journal/diary seized
DR had newspaper clippings of the abduction
DR had a hard drive seized from the second search
DR failed to respond to Patty's Letter in a respectable amount of time, never
DR had a letter from patty in the same box as the photos, journal, newspaper clippings and videos
DR admitted that the BCA asked him to confess and end it
DR admitted that the BCA has accused him of changing his stories over time
DR was home alone
DR has no alibi
DR had access to a costume at the spur of the moment
DR had a cedar chest seized that he said may contain blood, has the lab responded yet?
DR is a teacher and has the ability to have command presence over children
DR hadn't talked to the Wetterlings until Patty went to his health club and asked him to talk. a span of 20 years.
DR has doubted this case will ever be solved, that is not hope
DR has taken lie detector tests and undergone hypnotisms but the results aren't known
DR has knowledge of the area, roads, ditches, woods
DR fits the age range, height, and physical charecteristics
DR may have aspergers syndrome
DR lifted up the crime scene tape and contaminated the crime scene

In 2004, Sheriff Sanner talks with Nancy Grace and criminal profilers on CNN discussing the change of theory in the case, no vehicle.
In 2010, after the third search of his farm, DR is named a POI in the investigation and still has not been cleared.

Not exactly a breakdown. Anyone being served with a search warrant would be agitated.

Another note about Holligner. His daughter was the same age as Jared's sister and the girls were friends (best friends?). That could explain why Jared's perp was worried that Jared recognized him.

I think Hollinger looks more like the sketch than DAH. I thought I heard somewhere that he was "protected", and he never served any time for molesting boys.

I continue to give the example of Sher's friends who lived right by the W family who gave LE the key to search whatever they want when the family was not home.

Unless it is a lot different, there was an interview with the father on video. Was it about the historical farm designation? I do not recall.
But the house interior was shown and it was really neat with not a lot of stuff.
