It seems DR is much more concerned about clearing his name than in finding Jacob.

I don't have a problem with him looking out for himself. Jacob has his parents, law enforcement, and people like Joy, ELOC writing books and blogs, and all of us here on the Web. DR has only DR. Nothing wrong with looking out for number one.

I'd be more interested in October 22nd which I'm guessing is what you meant.

Of course...that is what I meant! Thank you for correcting me.

Either Kevin or DR is lying, it's that simple. Sanner on CNN Live after kevin came forward, come on now.

So you dismiss the fact that he said he saw a small blue car with close together headlights drive up and around his driveway at around the time of Jacob's abduction and he failed to mention any strange car when being told by the 911 operator that very night that an 11 year old boy was abducted from his driveway 2 hours prior? Dan Rassier stated that he saw a small car drive up his driveway with a small passenger at the time of the abduction but DID NOT MENTION IT to the 911 operator OR to the cops on the scene. Is there a reasonable explanation for this? DR stated to Esme Murphy that he did not help in the search efforts as he didn't want to 'waste his time' and he went to sleep.

Why would anyone say they didn't want to 'waste their time' searching for an 11 year old boy who was abducted from their property? It would only be a waste of time if you already knew where that 11 year old boy was.

I think DR DID go outside for a bit. Although JW did not have school the following day, DR DID have school so he went to bed. I'm also not certain DR fully knew the extent of what happened until the afternoon. Perhaps even LE wasn't certain exactly what happened

The driveway entrance was 1/4 mile to the farm house if I correctly recall. Would it have been possible for a vehicle to park between the wood pile and the road w/o being seen by DR or the boys? A vehicle could have been well out of the area before the call to LE and well before Kevin's appearance.

A vehicle could have been well out of the area before the call to LE and well before Kevin's appearance.

At 11:23 on October 22, 1989 DR saw flashlights moving near his woodpile. He picked up the phone and called 911 who told him that a boy had been abducted from the end of his driveway. He proceeded to walk down the driveway and spoke to officer Bechtold who confirmed that a boy had been abducted. DR volunteered to search his property at that point. He then went to bed, packed up his car full of instrument boxes and as he approached the scene of the abductions which had been taped off, he pulled up the tape, walked on the scene and asked how to get out as he had to go to work.

So he knew that a boy had been abducted from the end of his driveway that night:

-911 operator told him around 11:23 during his phone call
-Bechtall told him when he approached the scene
-Officers on scene in morning told him

LE knew what happened after speaking with the 2 boys who were present when Jacob was abducted...the same night around 30 minutes after it happened. What makes you say that DR did not know? Why would you think LE wasn't certain what happened? They have witnesses and a missing child. Please help me understand your theory.

When you look at the big picture, you can see the abductor was never completely out of view. And if he was trying that hard to be concealed, why turn around inside the building site?

Not really. Performing by playing music isn't interacting on a social level. As a former teacher, I can also state that there are teachers who interact well with kids but are not sociable with adults (or neighbors).

He also teaches at St. John's which I do not consider to be children. I doubt if they would keep anyone who does not interact with the students. Why should they? The tuition is like $40,000 a year. They aren't going to keep someone who does not talk

The car Kevin used was not a small car. So how many mysterious cars are there according to Dan?

He saw flashlights at a woodpile. Wow!!!!!!! Problem. Alert the police.

But tons of police cars and a low flying helicopter escaped his notice that something was going on as well.

Did anyone read the info I gave on Pathological liars?

They have no clue what they say makes zero sense

Kevin and his girlfriend jump into her car (a mid-sized silver/tan Grand Prix with a removable t-top and/or vinyl roof). The brother and sister-in-law jump into another vehicle (a big, black, jacked-up Ford pickup). They figure something must be going down at the Del-Win Ballroom, so they head in that direction.

For reference, this is a gold 1985 Grand Prix with T-top

Once they get to the Del-Win, they can’t see any squad cars… no lights… nothing. It’s like they’ve all just disappeared. They take a back road that goes behind the Del-Win and come out to 16th Avenue/91st Avenue (the road where Jacob was abducted). At that point, the brother decides to head home because he has to work in the morning, so he and his wife turn right (north) and head back toward town.

Since we are nailing on DR too much again, I"m going to share another theory. Kevins girlfriend owned a gold grand prix with a vinyl roof. DR says he saw something like a tan monte carlo whip that u turn in his driveway, well maybe he was a bit off. Maybe this is her in the afternoon by herself or with kevin? They come back later in kevins small dark car and park in "lovers lane" when they are interrupted by the boys flashlights. Kevin is angry, gets disguised and waits for their return. They abduct Jacob and turn around in the building site, DR saw this. Then once they get the word on the scanner, they scurry back in the gold grand prix again to cover up kevins small dark cars tracks and possibly remove the bikes.

Kevin's gf's car was silver, not gold. No comment on the rest of your theory.

It says Silver/Tan. The silver chrome plus the tan?

Neighbor kidnaps him takes him into his house and murders him? Zero evidence is found. Not possible.

I wonder how long it took DR to get to work the next morning. If he did have Jacob in his car which wasn't searched as he left the next morning where could he have gone to get rid of the body/evidence before arriving at school. Although that's pretty brazen to assume he wouldn't get searched on the way out. Takes some stones to do it right under LE's nose.

Which Sheriff worked the longest on the case? We know Charlie Grafft retired soon after the abduction. Does anyone know how long Kastreba was on it before Sanner took over?

The majority of the public believes they searched the farm and found nothing. If you go online and read immelmans you find out that it continues to say "But items are still being held for advancements in technology". Maybe it's nothing, maybe it is, but surely nothing to scoff at.

Sorry, but I can scoff since LE has had the items for 5 yrs. Waiting for technology? IMO they have no idea.

We are 5 years later, DR is still a POI, and very recently Aaron or Trevor stated that because of some recent happenings in the background, that he feels this will be the year we finally get some answers. I agree and it's a matter of any day now that this gets cleared up.
