Jared said that his perpetrator asked him for directions to the Kraemers. Well Jared was familiar with that family name, so maybe his misheard the name. Maybe the perpetrator asked for directions to another similarly spelled and similar sounding name??

Then there is the Red Carpet. I wonder if anyone in the area had a connection to the Red Carpet, such as a promotional agreement???

We should ask Jared if he thinks he misheard the name. Then we should do an interview with the owner of the Red Carpet to discuss bands, employees, vendors that he/she worked with at the time.

Does it bug anyone besides me that there is no knowledge of perpetrator footprints at the crime scene? or at least not told to the public yet? Did this guy somehow float/hover? How could only Jacob leave evidence? The perp was right behind him and either got in the car behind him, or had to walk to another door and get in. Was he so light in weight that footprints could not be recovered?

Could be. Either way it was a diversion, as the man dropped off Jared at Bell's Hill then turned around and headed towards Richmond.

I think the perp really said Red Carpet and really said "Kraemers". The Kraemers lived right near Jared's folks and he probably thought Jared would hop in the car to show him the way since he was walking home in that direction anyway. And then the guy wouldn't have to get out of his car and force Jared into it.

If it was Hollinger, it would make no sense to ask for "Kammers" because he would already know where they lived if he lived on that land. (JMO)

The St. Cloud Times ran and article in the Sunday January 15, 1989 newspaper titled "A Star is Born". This is a article about the launch of KKSR-FM Star 96. It's very likely they would have been promoting the station Friday night if the big launch of the station was Saturday, followed with the article on Sunday. I don't know this for sure there was a promotion as I have not read the article yet. Who has archives for the Times or I could go to the library and get it.

That would be the way to go back to the trailer. Into Richmond, then up County Road 9, then over on Manana Road
