They released tons of documents today and recordings of his interviews with police.Has anyone been able to find a link to them?

Most of these rampage shooters generally die in their attacks and are rarely thwarted. It will be interesting to read his words and see what was going on in his mind.

Oh and the dad wearing the NRA T-shirt after his son admitted that he wanted to "kill as many as he could". NOT SURPRISED at all. But I am disgusted. On many levels.

Waseca prosecutors are asking the state Court of Appeals to decide whether teenager John LaDue carried out enough of his unfulfilled family slaying and school massacre plans to be prosecuted for attempted murder and attempted property damage.

In court filings this week, prosecutors argue that a district judge incorrectly dismissed the most serious charges against the teen, who had amassed weapons and detonated practice explosives before authorities arrested him in late April. He told officers that he had planned to go on his killing spree within the next month. They are seeking to have those charges reinstated and quoted excerpts from LaDue’s journal in which he detailed his plot, including such passages as: “I don’t care if you are my best friend or my family. I’m not gonna hesitate to pull the trigger”...

Judge Gerald Wolf let stand six counts of possession of explosive devices against LaDue, but dismissed the most serious charges in July, saying prosecutors hadn’t shown that the boy’s actions went beyond “mere preparation.”

A Waseca County judge has agreed that John David LaDue, who allegedly planned to bomb his high school and kill his family earlier this year, could be transferred to a facility where he can more frequently receive treatment.

LaDue has been housed at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Red Wing since his arrest in late April. He was transferred Wednesday to Prairie Lakes Youth Program, a juvenile facility, in Willmar.

According to prosecutor Brenda Miller, the Willmar facility is the only one in the state willing to take the teenager.

Two teenagers facing explosives-related charges in connection with a foiled plot to attack a southern Minnesota school have pleaded guilty...

They were accused of helping classmate John LaDue detonate several small "test bombs" around Waseca, resulting in property damage...

The teens will be on a form of probation and must perform community service and must write letters of apology.

A Waseca man who pleaded guilty to selling a pistol to then-underage John David LaDue and to having non-consensual sex with a minor has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and five years probation.

Michael Jacobs, 41, raped a developmentally disabled teen in 2013, according to the original criminal complaint filed in Waseca County court.... Through a plea agreement, two counts were dismissed and the remaining count was reduced to fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct of non-consensual sexual conduct, a gross misdemeanor...

He pleaded guilty to the gross misdemeanor charge in November, as well as selling a pistol to someone under 18 without informing law enforcement, a felony.
