I think Stearns Cty found something and is covering it up. They could try to test the incinerator for any dna evidence. It may be a long shot, but it could be worth it- especially if what phantom said was true about it being used on an off day.

Then the DNA evidence would be Josh and what kind of lab tests would that be to link or not link to Jacob case?

Let's see, first Jacob goes missing. Dan Rassier was/is a person of interest, but the sheriff could and still cannot find physical evidence to link him to Jacob's disappearance. Next, Joshua Guimond goes missing on Nov. 9/10, 2002, with no apparent evidence to indicate what may have happened to him. Then, in 2004, a boy named Jared is abducted by a man wearing a disguise. Jared's life is spared and he is let go. Other info -- a monk with a history of sexual offenses, who was still actively working on campus when Joshua disappeared, suddenly dies a year or two ago. Apparently he worked in the same vicinity as Dan Rassier. . There are a bunch of dots here -- relationships that (in my opinion) need to be studied, events that have occurred -- and the one commonality that tentatively links these relationships is St. John's.

Correction to this info Phantom, Jared was abducted, violently sexually assaulted and let go Friday, January 13 of 1989. 9 months before Jacob disappeared. He came forward and talked publicly about it in 2004 to help solve his and Jacob's case. Jared got a good look at him when he stopped his car to ask for directions. After the guy grabbed him, he pulled Jared's hat over his face. The guy kept his jeans and underwear. He had to put his snowpants over his naked lower half of his body. Sad story.

Okay, JBrown, thank you for the correction!! On a different note, I think the only kind of evidence we're going to get out of that abbey is a person with a conscience who knows something. Unless, of course, the abductor had a special place where he kept "mementos" of his evil encounters.......

Inquiring minds want to know, what was Bruce Wollmering's alibi on the night Joshua went missing .... and .... when Josh first went missng, did anyone ever interview Wollmering or any of the other sex offenders on campus???

In the latest interview with Bob Guimond, listed above, Bob says that in 2003, 3 months after the disappearance of Josh, Wollmering cancelled classes and spent a week at the cabin.

I think many people are wondering, and have been wondering: Have the cabin grounds ever been searched by LE and their canines and are the cabin grounds being searched again?

If I were Josh's parents, I would threaten a lawsuit against Stearns county to release what was found in BW's room after the search. Or a lawsuit against the school to see it's records for the priests who have records of sex abuse with children or students.

I can't tell you how many times I've dreamed about going out to all those properties with cadaver dogs and ground penetrating radar. But you know, I think this perpetrator was experienced, and I think he knew just how to cover his tracks. However, no crime is perfect. I'm still concerned a clandestine cremation may have been done, in which case, we can forget about finding anything. However, to cover all the bases, the best thing would be to thoroughly investigate all those rural cabins and land owned by the church. Of course all of this should have been done in the beginning. I mean, I still can't get over that none of the monk's alibies for that night weren't verified. With the notorious history of St. John's, combined with Josh missing right from the campus grounds -- come on -- this whole "investigation" has been a sham right from the beginning. I guess the sheriff would refuse to release the results of BW's room contents on the grounds that the investigation is still "active." My gosh, is there an honest soul in that entire community???

Thank you, Concentric -- Amen. Thank you, JBrown, and all others who stick with Joshua's plight day after day, month after month, year after year.

I am unfamiliar with the ways of law enforcement -- procedures, rules, etc. But in my fantasy world, on November 10, 2002, if I had been the one (who was in a position of authority) and told, "we have a young male college student missing from the campus of St. John's University," I would have began by saying, " Please round up every known sex offender within the vicinity of St. John's, as well as every monk and staff member on the campus that night. Get the names of every friend who was with or saw Joshua that night as well. Interview and obtain alibis from each one. Check the alibis of the sex offenders. Based on the fact that there are known sex offenders housed on the campus, (now, we know, there were many who were unknown because the abbey DELIBERATELY LIED about who these individuals were), obtain a search warrant and scour the abbey. Bring in search dogs to see if Joshua's scent is in the abbey. Take the dogs through the tunnels as well -- go everywhere. Do this in tandem with searching the woods and the areas around the lakes. Let me know the results as quickly as possible.

What the pervs. do is sickening. Once you start doing a little research, you realize that this has been going on for decades in the U.S. and in countries throughout the world--many victims. Children tortured in orphanages, schools.

And, many people are unaware as to how extensive the problem of sexual abuse is at St. John's -- it has been going for decades and decades, and, worst of all -- enough people have known about it who could have done something about it, but would not.
